Born in Porto on March 29, 1977, he started to surf at the age of 14. After 10 years, he discovered kitesurfing as an option. He continued his professional kitesurfer career by becoming three times Portuguese kitewave champion and on November 8, 2017, aged 40 and 16 practicing kitesurf, he made the world’s biggest wave with his kite at Praia do Norte.
From Official World Record we have the honor of presenting a spectacular record, of a height of 20 meters, which was the wave that the Portuguese kitesurfer Nuno Figueiredo "surfed-flew" in this beautiful paradise for lovers of the sea that is Nazaré (Portugal) . Although this record took place in 2017 and was certified by Guinness, we celebrate it as a premiere because it is a pride that an athlete of this level and with a record of these characteristics has addressed us in order to be part of Holders of an Official World Record Certificate. It is one of a growing number of eminent athletes wishing to be part of a thriving organization with a spirit of leadership.

Aunque este récord tuvo lugar en el año 2017 y fue certificado por Guinness , nosotros lo celebramos como un estreno pues es un orgullo que un deportista de este nivel y con un récord de estas características se haya dirigido a nosotros con el fin de formar parte de los poseedores de un Certificado de Official World Record.Es uno de los cada vez más numerosos casos de eminentes atletas que desean formar parte de una organización pujante y con espíritu de liderazgo.
