  • This is a recording on lowering the suspension using DAS. I lowered all corners about 1". Unfortunately
the suspension raised backup up after driving the car, parking and shutting off the engine. I can get it
to lower back down by hitting the raise/lower switch, but unfortunately it resets after driving the car and
    turning off the engine.
I used "Initial startup" and "Control unit adaptions" to do this, I found no difference with either.
Give it a try and see if it works for you.
Special thanks to bobterry99 at benzworld.org

understood all of that, except the inclination level... what is that and what are you using to get those numbers?

I'm not sure what the inclination level is but you need a Romess meter to get it. I just followed the instructions by Kbob999 on post #8 of this thread at MBWorld. He is a very knowledgeable dude.

I just watched your Ferrari oil change video. I wish my video's were half as good as that. Those extra video clips are hilarious!

Did you ever find out why the altitude wasn’t maintained?

    Hi.
Do you know how to calibrate the suspension on a 2009 Mercedes w221 S320L cdi?
I have my own star diagnose c4.
I changed one of the level sensor and I have the airmatic "fault" message.
    Kind regards.

I purchased the lowering links, which are extremely easy to install. Front side is so easy you may not even need to remove the front wheel. Rears are a little hidden and therefore require the wheels to come off. If all you want is 1" it will do this easily, I decided to lower it until the top of the tire was hidden by the wheel well at the lowest position. When at the highest position if raises about one inch above the tire. I believe there is 2 inches of adjustment from the lowest to the highest position. When using this method the ride height stays set as you desire based on your height selection button. Links were under $100, but well worth it!

Where did you get DAS from? Isn't it proprietary to MB dealers?

Sorry for the late replay. The DAS I have is a Chinese knock off. It cost about $350. It's been some years since I've bought it so I don't have a link for it. You can search aliexpress.com and there are plenty of them there. I bought mine from Pauline liu but can't find that seller anymore.
