I’m on book six and so far I can’t judge the the sixth book bc I just started. Tripwire was the most gripping and most threatened Reacher felt without seeming vulnerable and weak-his adversary was just intelligent, ruthless, and capable. As far as my least favorite, it’s been Echo Burning
Also, the thirty points could be explained with lifting all those dirt and rocks and the amount of steak he was eating every day. It’s believable to me, but I can see why you doubt it. Dude was spending his money every day on steak; that shit is good for your T levels and a great muscle builder, one of the best for T besides eggs and oysters.
Just wanted to say ive only recently discovered your channel and love your reviews. Your passion for the Reacher series overall is quite inspiring. Its funny because I didnt think id find another a greater fan than myself. I discovered the series myself last year after watching the Amazon tv show. Since then, i have read the entire series almost, even reread several of the novels. I am an aspiring writer and full of ideas, my passion for Reacher even manifested as a poem I wrote called "61 Hours and Counting", that i hope to publish and present to Lee Child himself as a thank you for writing. Especially because when i started reading the series, i was in a very dark place in my life and his books were the spark that pierced the darkness. Like you, i was listening to the audiobooks and agree wholeheartedly, that Dick Hill is was and will always be Reacher! His vocal performance was very hypnotic and always on point. The last Reacher I finished was The Affair, once again another masterpiece by Lee Child and Dick Hill. Loved it from beginning to end and i was very how ambitious Child was the romance between Reacher and Devereaux, definitely a highlight for me! I have already seen yr review of the book and enjoyed it! My favorite books in the series are Killing Floor, Tripwire, Running Blind and Persuader. But I enjoy all Ive read as a whole. The recent novel, In too Deep, I didnt really enjoy but I was good read regardless, i felt that certain elements that I expect at this point to be in a Reacher were nonexistent, but i enjoy the Vidich character and his overall arc. I am so looking forward to S3. Hopefully, S4 will be adapted from Tripwire!
I agree with both of those romances, especially with Major Turner, the buildup and phone conversations between them in 61 Hrs were an absolute pleasure!@@DailyBS
I just finished this and i really enjoyed how the story progressed. There's the how does what Reacher know connect to Hobie and how that all comes together was very satisfying.
Of the almost 10 books I've read so far, Tripwire is my favorite so far. I usually listen to audiobooks. I happen to fall asleep and wake up mid chapter 14, in a very memorable scene. Imagine what I saw in front of me. 😱 Well, I ended up having to go back to the beginning of chapter 14 to get the full story. 😆Lee Child is a great author I recently discovered. There are still many more books to read for me.
I think your channel has a lot of potential. You mentioned age. Mid to late 30s Is when Lee Child began his writing career after working in television writing for Soap Operas. You do a great job articulating your thoughts in this review and I think you can only go up from here. Just found your channel today bc I wanted to see someone review my favorite Reacher novel (so far).
I HAVE TO SAY WHY HE DID THAT THE 1ST. BOOK IS WAY BETTER THE SAME WAY AS THE MOVIE WITH TOM CRUISE I FOUND IT A LOT BETTER TRULY DONT KNOW WHY I SAY HE RUIENED IT FOR NOT JUST ME BUT A LOT OF PEOPLE I KNOW. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND ME.

Thank you so much! It's great having another Reacher psycho on board!
