Great video, glad I saw this. I will be ordering a set of gen 2 coil overs from away away. 👍
great video but PLEASE put a guard on that grinder
Does this kit needs to be welded or is it nearly bolt on ?
It is bolt on! With a little cutting. If you call and talk to the owner of #khcustoms he can vouch that guys have jumped the truck with just bolting it on!
@@fordoff-road sweet thanks
Nice video! Are the Eibach leveling springs you installed Gen 1 springs? Would you happen to have the P/N for the Eibach springs?
I have gen 2 shocks so I have a gen 2 spring on there. Idk if the gen1 spring will fit. I've only hit the skid plate once in since doing all the upgrades and I've jumped the truck and it didn't hit.
Thanks for the video. I have a 2010 f150 and doing a raptor conversion. I Have the same shocks and struts, but why did was the KHC needed? and what is their website
It's needed if you want to get the full travel out of the shocks, I think they make the axle travel to far and it can fall out if you go offroad. The new bucket locates the shock higher so that you don't have that extra 2 inches of droop.
Krazyhousecustoms.com I think
I've been running gen 2 shocks for over a year with abuse and the only problem I've been having is with geometry of the upper ball joint. Fixing that soon but eventually going to buy me some icons. I don't really jump it... More of just high speed over rough terrain
I also swapped my gen 1 top hat and gen one springs over to the gen two shocks
Weld those buckets areound the area when the cut part meets the buckets. It will give you 10X the strength.
I just did!
9 hours!
With the gen2 springs, how is your clearance on the cv axle and tie rod ends?
I actually ended up going with eibach springs because the stock ones were so low. The angle is a little much and I ended up switching to a cv axle that's meant for lifted applications after my boots wore out.
What eichbach springs?
I have no idea to be honest
