I’ve only purchased 2 of those 5 pan ND’s and both ironing clasp broke on me within the first month- and that’s happened less than 6 times in my life - I’m 51 yrs old and have been buying makeup since I started working at 16. Adding to the conversation. Own Biba, Glam, Mini Glam. Most used Mini Glam… Next one I’m buying is Mini Nude to stop my urge for the ‘I need a Nude palette’. If you want more than 5 shades, definitely get one of the $65 palettes versus one that costs $129.
I own all of her palettes besides minis I only own one of those. My absolute favorite is glam palette but I fair skin with a cooler undertone. If you have a warmer undertone bronze or retro might be better. Depending on the direction and color that are your everyday colors.
I just bought my first ND eyeshadow a month ago. I got the “Starlette” mini. I love it so much. I’ve worn it two or three days every week. I hope you love her shadows, too @sarahfruin6414!
These compilations really illustrate how affections change, items are so precious at one time and then a while later it is dethroned. It becomes so clear when it cuts straight to the next declutter and we dont get the sense of the time between. It feels weirdly reassuring, makeup products cant live forever so just cherish what you cherish at the time.

My use of makeup has gone down so drastically in the last year that I am wondering if I am going to turn into a makeup minimalist permanently. I still love looking at and swatching all the beautiful colours I own and I am hesitant to weed things out too drastically because what if I want to start wearing more makeup again a year from now? I don't want to start rebuying a bunch of stuff. My compromise has been to not buy anything new while I haven't been using the makeup I have.

Wow, I completely forgot that you owned some of these (Modern Renaissance??). Who could forget the Marc Jacobs palette and the place it held in the HLP early arsenal. That NARS Loaded palette was such a waste for me; I never used it. That Wet ‘N Wild palette always reminded me of some color story from a Hard Candy palette, or maybe it was Prescriptives? I don’t quite recall, but it was some 90s-early 2000’s makeup brand.
So excited to watch these again. Been watching for years and often go back to watch an old review, duping the vibes or look for review. I invested in the gold palette when it came back last year and felt comfortable in my purchase after watching so many on your vidoes ❤️❤️
I’m so sad the wet & wild comfort zone palette is discontinued, the formula was so silky and beautiful and I think I would love the colors even more now than when I had it in college 😢
