The Best Power Carver Ever Made?

Some would consider this THE TOOL to have.
I'm in the middle on this one however.
This Handpiece is quiet and light in the hand so I can carve longer then with a heavier tool.
This handpiece is a detailers dream and does come at a cost $399 US, I purchased mine ten years ago for $799 as a kit with compressor and a few other things like burs.

Thank you for sharing this information.👍👍 I had this tool on my wish list for several years and just couldn't pull the trigger to buy it. Now its something i can purchase and have a justifiable need for it. Please share the how to repair video would be much appreciated. Also you air set up you use. Do you know if SCM has made any improvements to the tool since you purchased it?

hard pressed to say its the best carver ever made but it has its place. Burrs are a bit of a hassle in the FG size

those burs are harder to find for sure
