Bought a car from Carvana. Carfax said no accidents found the receipt in the glove compartment for $400 worth of bodywork that was done still kept the car, but you can’t always trust Carfax or Carvana

Or just dont be a complete dipshit lol, you just proved carfax listed all that info but the dealership stripped it out...not a carfax problem but shady dealership there are lots of them out there.

Carfax is good but people giving out information hoping that people skim over it because they trust is not

A car salesman pulling a fast one?! I’m sure there’s a reasonable explanation for all this, my printer runs out of ink all the time and it just shuts off or maybe he didn’t click print all?! What if the power went out after the first page or he had an emergency to get to and was distracted?! Even car facts says to do your own car facts report before buying. I’m sure it was something like that, not a fast lie for a fast buck. Now How about this one? It has third row seating and 26 cup holders!!?? 😂

My van doesn’t seem to have any issues & I’ve owned it for around 4yrs now. Took for MOT (UK Roadworthiness check) & the management light doesn’t illuminate at all. Thought it could be a dashboard issue so replaced from a spares supplier & still doesn’t illuminate. Would you know of the likely cause?

Carfax won’t show anything that a shop did on their own unless it is reported. You can find information on title changes service with manufacturer dealerships, and bodywork if an insurance claim has been filed. I was in the car industry for 17 years and I saw a lot of stuff come through that had a clean Carfax with replaced panels and other obvious bodywork.

Bad pcv valves. Built up positive crankcase pressure can blow your seals and if seals are strong enough your dipstick could shoot out

My truck had 587k on the mileage before I got in a wreck about to be putting money back into it to keep them miles going up

I’d rather have high mileage than years. I’d definitely buy a Toyota Tundra or even T100 with 400,000 miles. Been wondering about a 2000’s F250 with very high miles and how they might be

Or just look up the specs of your car before hand and measure out the proper amount and add little bits at a time and check your dipstick like a normal person
