That right there is why I have a front and rear dash cam, you could have had proof you did nothing. But if you did anything in the wrong a few hundred bucks and no jail is a win in my book.
I requested for the cops dash cam and body cam. They approved it and now I’m waiting for them to send it
The thing is Ron. An unmarked unit could have witnessed something and you never saw him. Then he had the marked units hook you up. The unmarked cop will be the witness and in court with you.

Exactly, it's registered with the ATF before they release it to you. When you purchase a fire arm, they process your information through their database to make sure your able to purchase the fire arm, once cleared, the serial number of that fire arm is registered in your name and local, state law enforcement can pull up who's name that fire arm is registered to in their NICS system. Cmon bro 🤔🤔🤔
Registered with atf is one thing. Like here we have to then register it with our local jurisdiction as well for another 50 bucks. A year. It’s a money thing- plus then it tags you. ATF don’t tell locals so our local pd after local municipal registration knows when they pull you over it populates on the mdt.
@jessenielsen3459 Wow, I've never heard that. That is a way for the local PD to make money off of concealed weapon carries every year!!! In my state once you purchase a pistol or rifle, you're good. No fees, every 5 years you have to renew your concealed weapons card and that's it

I thought you always had to turn your registration in. The store should have informed you where you purchased it. And depending on body cam footage they will drop it to careless driving or drop it all together if the cops don’t show

Its in your best interest to either fight this and win or take a deal to get it off your record. If they catch you again, even racing it will be an automatic seizure.

Not sure what state your in but here in VA, reckless driving could be a number of things.
Anytime tires break traction, say you pass a car in the right lane & you signal the left and return to the right with the left signal it's reckless driving too. Speed over 20 mph over limit following to closely or extreme tailgating same thing.
But atleast here cops understand awd and lockers and such and would cut a lil slack if it was just a chirp in the turn. The gun thing would've went different va & atf would've put the store that sold you it thru absolute 💩. Like how does a store sell you a unregistered firearm, atleast here it goes thru atf and is registered to you and signed and paid for before you take possession period. They screwed up beyond belief doubt they'll have a gun license any longer
