I was in tears of joy watching at home, so happy for them especially MacKinnon, Landy, EJ, Val, and JT. Was with the Avs thru some tough years and they stuck it out and became Champions together.
Unfortunately I couldn’t be there in that crowd because I don’t actually live in Denver but I was watching on tv at a friend’s house and I remember so vividly my friend and I were literally jumping around and screaming like hooligans and we even had confetti poppers for when the clock hit zero. It’s been a year now and I still watch the replay of that game and just relive the moment. Go Avs!
Maybe one day they'll have virtual holograms of the players on the ice so you can watch away games at home...I was in Mexico and found some Avs fans at the hotel bar so we all celbrated together!
