Thank you Mike & guys! Another great adventure, spreading your wings across more of the theatre of WW2. Amazing finds and so personal to so many of the soldiers that were there. Well done & again, thank you. 👌
Good stuff, Mike ! The name tag is especially cool. I’ve seen a picture of a similar tag on a rifle sling, of all things, affixed with two small rivets. Keep up the great videos, sir.
I'd like to see a video metal detecting in Finland! Maybe in Lapland, where we fought the Germans at the end of the war...The most interesting finds of the Finnish wars with the Russians are sadly on Russia's soil, so no going there now...
One of your best digs, Mike. Could you put together a little video or photo on Facebook where it shows all the game pieces after being cleaned? I wonder if there’s a complete white set of chess pieces 🤔
Hi Thoman, thanks! It was a great day digging for relics. We divided the game pieces so can't clean and show them all. Maybe I'll try to clean and show what I have sometime soon. Thanks for dropping by again.
The so called flower on 14:20 is one of Latvian traditional ornaments. It calls Auseklis. Probably a button of some cloth of Latvian legionnaire (15th, 19th SS Division)
Ooooooh yes big balls what a great start to a weekend and at nearly half an hour it’s created a stirring in the loins!! I’d like to see that ring restored by someone like the awesome restoration channel guy he does amazing shit! Congratulations and thanks again big balls
I finally watched it 🤣 I really like all the game pieces. I would like to see what a complete set looks like. I imagine you could play multiple different games with one set. I'll have to do some research 😉

Bonjour , je suis un jeune collectionneur militaire français et j'adore ce que vous faites. Je me demandais si vous vendez quelques objets ? Merci d'avance !
Yeah needed to be a bit more clear about that in the video. Germans could be souvenir rings at the Canteens at their Army bases. Hence the name 'canteen rings'. They were often praising the German military successes, like a Narvik ring (the german Campaign to take over the port of Narvik). Also the death head rings, you might have seen those in the past.

@@IronMikeMetaldetecting you're saying the krauts were capitalizing selling pinky rings?
I’d say it’s a light fixture.
Could well be! Thanks for your help.
