Why and how are these short films by Dust so much better than every other mainstream movie that comes out except for a few? It's crazy how great every one of these short films are. Keep it up!
Because it’s original ideas and not Hollywood garbage trying to repackage everything and not having an original thought. The best sci-fi I’ve seen in the past couple of years has literally come from this channel.
In Hollywood there are also snakes who see other snakes do bad things to other people. So you can only be in Hollywood if you are a short sighted snake. Also you have to bend to get a role. Creepy people.
Because it's like watching College Football game verses watching an NFL game. They are fighting to become big. So they put their heart and soul into it and do whatever they think it's going take to make it into the big leagues. Unlike mainstream (NFL) they already made it and all they are doing is fighting to stay relevant.

Well, perhaps because they aren't in it for the money; Rather, They were in it for the art.
Ok, not gonna lie, Pinki made me smile. Think I'll fire up my old PS1 and play some Driver for awhile. 54 yo in 6 days.
Pinki was a really cute story. It gave me 80's vibes, and lots of memories.
It really made me think. How easily we as humans discard things that once upon a time meant the world to us. I remember making mix tape after mix tape for my friends and girl friends....putting a lot of the music that I loved into them....a lot of me into them.....only to move onto the next thing when it comes out. Not that long ago, I was digging thru some boxes in the garage and found my old walkman with some of the old tapes I would tape off the radio....not easy work....but effort....effort that came because at the time I needed those songs....they said something to me at that time and place. I listened to them over the course of a few days and memories that I didn't think about much came back in a rush with each and every song.....places I had been, people I don't even know any more that once meant something to me. How easily we move on and forget.
Appliance love indeed! Who doesn't remember their first mp3 player?
At least the ads included a Gaia skit talking about "everything in the universe is conscious" ....apropos

I liked Pinki the best, it really brought back memories...
The second one was definitely dope, but a bit confusing at the end. Love the combination of magic and technology.
Cera was enthralling; great story telling in such a short time. Left me wanting to know more about what’s coming! And, “Hello” to Jason Isaacs.

In cases like the beginning, it would be a sign of basic sanity that no one turn on a light if something is looking for it.
These films by Dust Production are the best directors spend more time and effort on these shorts making em higher quality....

Did any of you get what was spoken at the end of Cera? Too loud a noisy background. I feel like I missed something. In fact, I didn't get what the story was about.
I was going to post the same question myself, but after replaying that part again, about a kagillion times over and over with my speaker setting way up high, maxxed out.., at 35:38, I think what Henry says is:.. "I could have kept you with me if you hadn't known the truth"... or... "if you hadn't told me the truth"... idk.
Dust's audio and sound engineers/technicians don't seem to notice or care that their sound audio levels are consistently all over the map... too loud... too quiet... too echo'y... not balanced that's for sure.

Here's a scifi thought: there's a species called "The Ceptos" from a planet called "Norkis". Every Ceptos is born from a flower pod. The Ceptos power come from the sun to create or destroy planets. The Ceptos enemies are called Ezors that lives on a neighboring planet. The rest of the story can be edited. Can you finish this story?
