This show was one that I will forever regret missing, Don't remember the details but I think I had heard on Q107 about the date they were coming and circled that date then next thing I know they already played the show beforehand, I was so pissed off since I was a huge Exciter fan and had both their albums, bought the next 2 albums as well, Long Live The Loud and Unveiling The Wicked. This show along with Maiden in 81 with original singer and Priest at the El Mocambo 79 and of course SRV at the El Mocambo are a few of the shows I really regret not seeing. Did however see so many others though, glad to be an old 60 yr old with wonderful memories of a time when music mattered.
Taikeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeennnnnnnnn! by violence and Metal Fooooooorrrrrrrce !!!!!!!! un disco terrible !!!!! Ya no se hacen obras de arte así, que lastima.... Abrazo power metal vieja escuela, querido amigo !!!!!
I met EXCITER a few times when they played Chicago in the 80s. John is so cool. Had some beers with him. Got all my early vinyl signed. My copy of HMM is one of the first 1st first first pressings. Still in excellent condition. Also met them with Rik Charron, Marc Charron, Jacques Belanger, Kenny "Metal Mouth" Winter, and Rob "Clammy" Cohen. Haven't seen them in years though. Need to see the current lineup. Thanks for posting this. 🤘 Long Live the Loud.
I also had a Kiss Collectors Album called The Originals it was a three album set. Inside it mentions Exciter, Y'all had a top 10 entry in there. Pretty cool !
I saw Exciter in 1984 in Denver with Mercyful Fate. Awesome show.
