*Most of these babysitter urban legends and movies like “Halloween” by John Carpenter & “When a stranger calls” by Fred Walton are actually based off of a case that happened in 1950. A thirteen year-old girl called Janett Christman was babysitting a little boy and on that night she’s actually been asked to go out to a dance with her friends but she declined. At around 10:35pm the police department got a phone call and it was Janett screaming down the phone and saying “Come quick!” But the call was too short and Janett didn’t give any information on her whereabouts so they couldn’t trace the call. Then at about 1:35am the parents came home, and they had called her before to check and see how she was doing but she didn’t answer the phone so Anne(the mum)thought Janett had fallen asleep, and when they got in they found Jenett’s body, she’d been strangled with an electric iron cord and was raped. One of the other sad things about this case is that her 14th birthday was just 3 days away. And the killer was never found but they suspected that it was a friend of the parents who I think was still in high school at the time but Yh that’s what inspired most of the urban legends*

Later she gets another one and a strange voice asks why she hasn't checked on the kids. The babysitter calls the parents who tell her to leave the house and call the police. When the police arrive they find the kids murdered and a murderer preparing to go after the babysitter. There's also the clown one where the babysitter gets freaked by a clown statue, she calls the parents who tell her to get the kids and get out. There was no clown statue just an escaped mental patient.

Stated specifically that there's no beef and they're still mates. Also said that dudey will be back as the resident conspiracy theory host. Gutting that he's gone because he's great on the show but good to know there's no hard feelings
