I love that shelf & contsiners to display natural treasures. We are always finding treasures that they love, so a home for them is great! Anything to avoid then being strone thrive the house or found in the washing machine! 😆 The fruits of the spirt poster is absolutely adorable too. You always have great ideas. The tracking charts are great too accountability is such a great skill as well as training them to make lists to track their goals. It really shows them their progress.

I just want to tell you that you've inspired me so much to take my kids education seriously, I started my journey 2 years ago but when I found you I became more educated about homeschooling. Because of finances I'm currently working at a bilingual school as a kindergarten teacher, so our homeschooling journey has been interrupted. My oldest girl is attending formal school, for the first time, and I'm finding out that it doesn't suit her as I would want to. I'm her teacher. I also have a 2 year old boy. Jady, I have recently been watching your videos to learn more about homeschooling as I am thinking of keeping my daughter home for kindergarten. So glad the comment section is open on this video as I wanted to tell you that are wonderful! I love watching how you teach your children at home and I am learning what I can try implement. I feel scared to homeschool and sometimes contemplate if I should just send her to public school. My family is shocked that I will homeschool (all were in the public school system, some are currently educators in the public school system). How do you help a child who feels defeated easily? How do you help overcome the fear of failure? For instance, my 3 year old and I were drawing and I asked if she could draw a flower. She said she couldn’t and begged me to draw one for her instead. I asked if she could try first because she’s smart and capable and she said no and started crying. How do you encourage kids to keep trying?
She was drawing with you already, so just go with whatever she wants to draw. If she WANTS to draw a flower, you could let her try tracing a very simple flower drawing. You can have her do fun activities that build fine motor skills.

I agree with the other comment, let her draw what she wants then she can tell you about it if you’re not actively trying to show her something at that moment. I usually say, ‘you worked really hard on that, tell me all about it,’ when I don’t know what it is lol.
Just draw the flower for her 😊 show her is no big deal, not that serious, at 4 they should just have fun drawing whatever comes to their mind. I used to try to encourage my kids to draw stuff and it always ended in frustration lol I learned to let them be and now at 6 and 7 they draw all these very intricate drawings, stuff I never encouraged them to try drawing!
