I can see why they repositioned a couple of bosses after the first try. They had a tendency to nuke you within a second of entering the arena on the second attempt and beyond. It can make for a pretty harsh penalty for not killing a boss first go.
Yeah, both hippo and gaius would immediately rush you
Yeah like dude let me summon my spirit before you go ham on me
Yes and annoying if you wanna summon spirits.
They did this initially to prevent people from choosing the boss. By using comet azur
But the problem ISIS that summoning is supposed to help you ease the difficulty of a boss. And the positioning and the aggressiveness of the bosses made it. So that way, as soon as you enter the arena, you couldn't use your summons you would be attacked immediately
Hopefully, this new change will allow players to adjust the difficulty to a style that is fitting to them
Bayle still does...but atleast he gives you a 2 second headstart lolol
Next patch needs to be like 50 buffs to the new weapons and spells that are absolutely useless
Nah only nerfs they only thing I see FS buffing is recovery
Please because so many new spells are pretty bad
@@Jediahgames we can hope
Erm no that would make my broken pvp build useless , pls dont let everyone be op , im the only one that should be op
Perfume One Shot: Dead, Bloodfiends arm: nerfed good, Thorn Spell Build with arcane Stave: Still Busted
Bloodfiend arm is still pretty strong tho, it just isn't instableed on every single thing anymore
Not busted at all, it's just useful, usable!
thank you miyazaki
Thank marika they were quick!
The weapons by themselves aren't powerful and don't need to be nerfed at all, but the buff stacking that players do needs to be fixed so they can't buff stack anymore.
If the smithscript physical damage from flame art was a bug, then it should also be a bug for the erdsteel dagger too. That should have been intended
yeah was wondering why tf the physical for my (magic) smithscript axe was so high when the strength and dex scaling are both the worst rating at E
It still increases physical damage tho, just the total AR isn't as high.
@RedViIIain oh. Well that's perfectly fine then. I was thinking the patch notes meant they just got rid of that perk completely
Granted, the Smithscript Cirque was the highest AR weapon in the entire game with magic infusion and 99 int. It got more than 1300 AR without any buffs active.
@@a.x.w yeah I equipped the cirque when I got it because it looked cool, and at +24 it did more damage than my zwei. It was easily the most op weapon when just looking at damage stats, and not status proc or animation bugs
Gaius was too close to the fog gate and it was really difficult to avoid his initial charge.
Yeah I couldn’t reliably dodge that move I would almost always get hit one way or another. So yeah Mr piggy didn’t need to be that close after reentering the fog gate.
blood hound step
@@falsechord but you shouldn't have to use a particular ash of war unless its given to you specifically for that fight. Like with Rykard.
@@therevahchist2790 ye i know we shouldnt need to use it but...fromsoft is pepega
the way i did it: i use my ash and then hop on my horse asap and then run to the left he will hit your horse but doesnt dismount you at least for me then i would just dismount and start the fight
Lightning Perfume, my beloved 😭
I wasn't even using the free-aim ground nuke strat, I was just so happy to be playing Wizard of Legend in Elden Ring.
I should've killed radagn when I had the chance. Fml
Wizard of legend mentioned ur awesome
I was nuking players that ganked and the final boss but rarely used them and was planning to in the base game now I feel it’s fully unusable with out buffing atleast once or twice on ng7
Bugger, I was hoping the smithscript stuff wasn't a bug, similar to the elden dagger
still scales the phys damage with int and faith just not as high now
And bleed
Greatsword of Damnation was not nerfed because it is perfectly fair and working as intended.
Unironically
Honestly I doubt if we will ever see it fixed. Its only broken because of FromSofts crappy netcode and I dont think they've ever fixed stuff thats messed up because of that.
But it's literally impossible to Dodge and it has perfect auto tracking, you should be able to Dodge it at least, the tracking and damage is fine
@@Laoruperteen18 pretty sure this is because of the netcode issues and how the greatsword detects hits
Golden Crux needs to be dodged on the attacker's side, not yours. Its obnoxiousness quite literally scales with their ping. Think of it like you would with parrying or phantom buildup. If you see someone with it, throw a Fan Dagger at them and try to adjust your timings depending on the delay, that's about all you can do to even the playing field.
Bloodfiends arm now has a C scaling instead of B, still can reach over 200 bleed on high arcane builds. It also still nukes bosses poise and R2 still does crazy bleed on newest patch. All in all, slightly nerfed, but still staggers insanely well, which is one of the selling points of it (stance breaks Metyr 120 poise in 2 hits with cragblade).
Blood Great Stars is still better than Bloodfiend Arm in my opinion. Can stagger and break poises in 2 hits and procs bleed like crazy. Bloodfiend arm takes 3-4 hits to break poises now.
Sad they didn’t buff the boss weapons since they’re all kinda meh at the moment
I had 2k AR with my Smithscript hammer prepatch. I now have 1600 AR with the hammer post patch. That was with no buffs or talismans to boost it, so I feel like it was brought more in line.
Carian Sorcery Sword is pretty fun now with S intelligence scaling. at
Meanwhile Rain of Fire is still a meme incantation. Lmao. Its pretty sad that the Messmer flame spells have literally three incantations and one is utterly useless
sadly i felt the increased scaling for the throwing weapons should've been kept. either that or increase the base scaling overall for them. i also feel like some of the status imbuement spells/items should work on the throwing weapons.
I think for most of the weapons their normal damage was ok but the daggers with normal infusions had like…zero damage…
Swift Slash was in my opinion without question the worst thing pre-patch. I decided to let my solo-world get invaded and actually won each and every interaction with a dumb and incredibly basic strength build wielding the giant-crusher w/ hoarah loux's earthshaker. I realized I got lucky though since when I decided to play with friends, I got a good couple Swift Slash users that just destroyed us all in seconds.
They point blank suicide run of the bottles was kinda funny to me. It ment you had to be careful about when to attack or fight at longer ranges.
Swift Slash was just broken.
The hippo thing is weird... I always heard how hard it was to dodge the grab, but I didn't have any trouble on any of the hippo fights. Dodged it every time no trouble.
Plus, I’ve heard more complaints about Gaius’ pig charge, yet that hasn’t been changed.
Yeah, that grab animation started so slow you just had to run to one side for a while, then dodge.
If you were right in front of it tho... It was annoying.
Problem was how wonky it sometimes happen I think like in my game first try, caused something similar to DS2 pullback fall into grab.
It was a bit bad for players who don’t have high performance consoles, like myself and the grab hit box was actually super bad with low latency I’d get grabbed when I was a step away from the corner of his mouth
I didn't have that many issues either, but comparing it to similar grabs in previous games, it really did feel strange you couldn't dodge into it.
Midra's incantation also got nerfed. Much more madness build up on self.
Oh and that St. trina flower you can equip on your head that increases max FP also got nerfed.
Bro, what😭 the fp hat BARELY gave any fp to begin with? How did they nerf it😂
Maybe the golden hippo grab was a little hard to dodge, but you can literally just run to the side and not even need to roll. It was so easy to not get hit with that…
AHAHAHA I'VE ALREADY BEATEN THE GAME WITH ONE-SHOT PERFUME
balance team will never catch meee!!!
for tourists that only play the game once and never touch it again
Honestly i had an easier time killing bosses with dragon flower petal mace than trying to pull off the perfume one shot lol
The perfume was fun with the one-shot build... It was fun, just do a lot of damage and receive a lot too.. i get it, people don't like to others dont play de game the same way, but god it was fun, like every anime fight, u r losing healt, he keeps attacking u, but u know, u have 1 chance, doing it good or die. It was epic.. i'm not crying but it's not the same. And by the way, i beat the Game first with my built, so the second Game i was just having fun.
saw a lot of this coming, which is why I didn't bother using most of these weapons. I still enjoy the fire knights greatsword. It puts out good damage for the weight and the moveset is also versatile.
I assume that the change about Smithscript weapons could be them making the "elemental" affinities equal to eachother with the same investment
For example i know for a fact that the Axe was getting higher damage with Magic infusion over Sacred/Flame with the exact same Int and Faith, while the Greathammer was even weirder bc its Sacred infusion was better than Flame, despite them being supposed to be the same numbers but just different damage type
At least i hope they're not nerfing them, as that was a whole weapon "family" viable for my int/fth playthrough, otherwise im kinda stuck with SoNaF and "cooler SoNaF" aka Rellana's Swords
Plus throwing a giant hammer is cool af and i hope it stays somewhat usable
All the Smithscript weapons lost a few hundred ar. It was honestly justified, though. Having 900 ar on an axe or over 800 ar on a backhand blade could not have been intended.
@unbearable505 I agree on the backhand blade, but the axe performance was still a bit under what people I fought were getting out of the stone club. Different weapon class, I know, but pretty much the same attack speed and range.
Felt like the perfume nerf was a bit too much. Perfumes don't get enough love as is. Sure, the one shot build was ridiculous, but there was no reason to nerf it to where it's at now. They could've just nerfed it to do 50-60% less damage. The nerfed damage made it seemed like it now hits like a wet noodle.
To be fair, both the damage doubling, and the explosions connecting for every hit were a bug. I wish they kept some of the multi hit on rolling sparks, because it was genuinely a high skill maneuver, you had to get real close to a boss and unlock, looking away from their top half to maximize damage. I felt like that was a good play pattern, just one with a little too much reward. But either way, I'd rather the perfumes be strong intentionally, and all around not just because of its skill. Hopefully, if we stay on fromsoft about this one, they'll get buffed back up and be all around good.
@@demonicgrub1025 they could have reduced the stagger and made it so if you aim it into the ground they still go off in sequence instead of nearly all at once. Then you could roll out of it but still catch people who played dumb, at the end of a jumping attack or wasted a stamina bar.
@@demonicgrub1025It literally had no skill involved. It came out at the same speed a fucking Piercing Fang came out and had ridiculous damage.
@@ToasterDsG so now it does basically nothing against bosses. It's primary use is now gone.
I hope the perfume bottles don't get the rifle spear treatment.
Part of me wishes that the Fire Knight's could still combo but had less damage. The amount of true combos are exceedingly small (especially ones that can't be stopped by slight lag), and the ones we do have tend to be really hard to pull off. Having a weapon that held the niche of comboing was kind of fun
bruh why put blind spot in the thumbnail, i thought it actually got nerfed lmao (and i hope it does get nerfed soon becaus fighting someone with blind spot is just pure agony)
you need to make a Finger Fanatic build for lvl 200 PVP; Ringed Finger in offhand, Gazing Finger in main hand, and Staff Of The Great Beyond to cast ONLY Finger Sorceries. It'll be Hilarious.
Smithscript weapons got really nerfed. My hammer lost around 120ar :(
Yeah I’m disappointed. The Smithscript hammer was one of my favorite weapons in the DLC. Really fun to use and never felt OP. Now it’s straight up trash. Why introduce all these new weapons and make them trash? Really don’t understand Fromsoft thinking here.
@ThatsThatOnThat The smithscript backhand blade was definitely OP, but I agree otherwise.
The position reset on commander gaius certainly helps with getting buffs setup before he comes charging at you at mach speed. (also summons/letting other players enter the arena if you need those.)
Ngl, just kinda lame. Some stuff were definitely over tunes, but it was a lot of fun to actually use new and different play styles and feel powerful, as opposed to feeling like a challenge run.
Now some play styles are just useless. I'm not a meta slave, and im not trying to optimize every decimal point of damage, but of your prefered weapon/play style is just worse than a starting classes default equipment, by a large margin, just feels bad.
Lost, your thumbnail shows Blind Spot, not Swift Slash. Which is a shame, because Blind Spot wasn't touched at all despite needing a nerf as well, especially now that a lot of people are gonna replace Swift Slash with that one.
Why does Blind Spot need a nerf? It's just a "get behind blocking" ash as compared to "free dashing away and wiping teams" ash
@@benjamintim3542 Because it's way too spammable for how fast and strong it is. Slow weapons are borderline unplayable against Blind Spot if the BB user doesn't mash mindlessly. You could remove their ability to roll and they'd still destroy you. At the very least, it needs less damage and more recovery.
I do feel they nerfed the damage a little too much on rolling sparks, I’m honestly surprised the bug with the fan shot bow wasn’t fixed considering you can do instant status affects with it
@@Sunblaze64 they'll murder that too. From soft hates bows. Thats why they give you a 10% damage buff to arrows that's basically worthless.
@@lolbuster01 there is a second talisman to buff bow damage now and dlc day release patch also buffed bow damage but they should by all means nerf it the bow clearly isn’t meant to hit you with all the arrows just cuz 1 hit you that’s not a “nerf” it’s a fix
@@Sunblaze64 there's actually 2 in the dlc. And if that's what's happening then yes it should be fixed.
@@lolbuster01 well I didn’t know that and yeah I noticed it myself but then waifu did a vid on it the other day confirming my suspicions (might’ve been a short)
Lame that they didn't increase the throw distance of all the smithscript weapons that aren't the hammer. The axe in particular needs it bad. Also the throwing damage should be increased. I was excited for the smithscript weapons but they've mostly proven underwhelming.
I hope the Smithscript weapons are still viable.
Also, I never had issues dodging the hippo personally. I don't know how it is now, but before, I would dodge left or right basically the second your feet were in its mouth.
I only ever got grabbed the first time I fought a hippo.
I hope they buff some of the useless spells, especially Electrocharge and Crucible Thorns. It would also be nice if they decrease the start-up on Crucible Bloom by a little bit. And it'd also be good if they fix the Divine Bird Feathers incantation. DBF didn't consume FP (nor stamina) beforehand - I need to test if it still doesn't. It didn't have high damage, but the fact that it was an infinite spell if you just held down the button was kinda crazy.
My last thought - maybe it's just me, but it doesn't seem possible to dodge the grab on Midra's sword if you're in melee distance. Like, it seems like it ignores invincibility frames, and has a massive grab range - gotta be a spear length away to avoid getting impaled.
You do bring up a good point. I don't think you should be guard broken on an r1 with a thrusting shield. It can make them a little too dangerous to use when used as intended. Especially since being guard broken can not only lead into a crit but sometimes 2-3 big hits.
people keep using the term “nerf” for the perfume bottles when it’s pretty obvious it was just a bug fix to Rolling Spark. that’s not really a “nerf” at that point, and no one in their right mind could honestly argue that they thought it was ever supposed to work like that. the bottles themselves seem unchanged. i still get 490 AR (no shadow blessings) with the lightning bottles with 60 faith and only 34 dex, which is right where it was. also, the perfumer’s talisman buff to the bottles’ dmg doesn’t show up on your AR for some reason, but it does give you more dmg with the bottles. edit: it seems like the purpose of the bottle from a design standpoint was to give elemental dmg to build where it doesn’t quite match. like, fire is normally a strength or a faith thing, but the bottle is only dex, lightning is dex, but the bottle also scales with faith (unlike most lightning weapons), cold and poison are “on brand” still, but the madness one kinda has all the bases covered. i really don’t think they were ever meant to be insta nuke buttons, just sources of pure elemental dmg.
edit2: i did have the “no dmg” bug happen in pve when testing out the other bottle AoW. that one would be ok if it was faster to come out… it does have a weird effect that if you are attacked while doing the AoW, it won’t go off right away, but still go off like 2 seconds later. kinda interesting. Also, i hear the Bloodfiend arm wasn’t really nerfed that badly and is still instantly bleeding people with high arcane builds. but overall, i’m still glad about the Rolling Spark and the Swift Slash being fix with the former and nerf with the latter, cuz 3 hosts with RS was not fun to deal with at all.
Really? Hmm.... I was getting shit out of it. I'll check again later.
I heard Bushy say this wasn't bug and was working as intended while shitting on his chat lol
I 100% agree with you tho, it was never intended
@@Ron_Jambo_ There are a bunch of weapons that were introduced with off-brand elemental types, and it does seem like a good option to round up very dedicated builds and give them access to a elemental weakness. IE: Death knight axes, Putresence cleaver, Flower Stone gavel, Impaler's Spear
I always used wall of sparks to my advantage when I get hit out of the animation, as the actual effect wouldn't go off until struck. So I would send out the perfume, get staggered, throw some perfume and watch as the enemy melted from AoW damage and normal attack damage
the issue is that rolling sparks cannot be used defensively AT ALL anymore. Sure it shouldn't have reliably one shot anybody with any amount of defense possible, but with how pitiful the poise damage is (loses against 90% of all weapons HA even when 1h at like 50 poise) and having hardly any reach, speed, or lingering hitbox (yes I think that should be a thing), it's just.... practically unusable in pvp, comparatively to any other weapon type. Random slappy hands can poise through them ffs
Yeah the issue was the hitboxes for Rolling Sparks were stacking on top of each other if they couldn't travel the full length of the attack range, which for some reason caused the damage to multiply as well. So when you mash all 5-6 hitboxes in one space, it just made a huge burst. The INTENDED use of Sparks was definitely to throw them THROUGH enemies hitboxes, not at their feet.
I'm very glad this got fixed, because it was just a meme build that people were abusing and now they'll have to figure out how to actually use a tiny bit of skill.
Its still pretty good on long enemies like magma wyrms.
And now tall they do is tickle the enemies
@@kiBe- No, it does the damage it was meant to do. It still works real well on larger enemies, or enemies that are moving towards you.
It's just not the bullshit "I win" button anymore.
@ExtraStage300 bro, the rolling sparks aow is so bad not even worth using imo
@@savagebanana6682 It's fine, it's just not *broken* now.
I can still kill bosses with it, it's just not a fucking one-shot, so you unskilled neanderthals might actually have to TRY now.
Lost. My Pale Man Friend. Tip for Bloodfiend's Arm to work with the nerf. Go 99 Arcane. 60ish Strength. Spiked Cracked Tear, Thorny Cracked Tear. Cragblade. Blood Infused. Lord of Blood Exultation. Even using 2 with a chill character I made, it is HARDLY noticeable.
Considering most people have it crag blade on it alreadh and blood infusion it’s nice that just increasing arcane and changing around the physick keeps it the same basically
@@evanlogan4633 You can tell it has been nerfed some but I think even Lost can agree that there is ALWAYS a work around. As a build maker myself, I know the struggles of nerfs. :D
2:42 I did during the Hipopotamus and Gaius fight, the sparks simply went through them and dealt no damage
Happened to me too quite a bit
I somewhat surprised the meteoric ore greatsword didn't get sn adjustment in this one.
This will at least allow us to find any other major issues in the other weapons that were overshadowed by the previous ones
I have a major bug after the patch.. Cant see my tarnished and i cant see most of the game textures...
chilling perfume bottle is still not bad im getting 6k damage with it
Smithscript daggers weren't even that strong, so I hope they increase the damage. It's lack luster in PvE and, from what I've seen, just bad in PvP.
Was hoping for the gs of damnations weapon art to get adjusted it always lands if your not miles away
6:42 I never had a problem with this grab attack, I could always dodge it.
Thank God the commander Gaius position was changed. I got tired of him plowing me into the wall and hitting me 2-3 times with the same charge. That attack was nearly impossible to dodge. There was a very tiny window and if you missed it we'll get fucked. Now my subsequent playthroughs won't have as hard of a time as my first
Rest in peace perfume, the one thing that made it good is gone, probably worst weapon type now ⚰
Bullshit, they still serve their niche of giving easy access of safe elemental damage to builds that normally wouldn't.
@@ToasterDsG "easy access" you have to go through like 70% of the game first and like 50% of the dlc, and without a dedicated build you're only getting like 300-400 damage. Useless
@@hecc7906 No lmao. In fact you have to go through only 40 percent of the game, and the first perfume bottles are quite literally at the start of dlc. Easy access to elemental damage for builds that dont have it. C'mon, dont be a number monkey.
Most OP thing of the DLC is “CURSE YOU BAYLE”. I was too scared to see such nerf to it but luckly no! Praise Igon
My frenzied bottle was how i dealt with bleed and spell ganks now its been nerfed into the ground, and even regular attacks do way less damage now
Sooo the new bottles are useless
Yeah I'm gonna miss the emergency floor nuke, but wiping out 3 players with one L2 felt kinda too cheap, it's ultimately deserved.
Time to break frost bottle tho >.>
@almond5284 yeah, but I feel they could've fixed it by just making the hit boxes not pile on top of eachother. They didn't need to cut the damage back as well imo that was balanced considering what they left alone
the bug that caused the perfumes to do no damage was Last Rites. But they've officially killed perfumes anyway so... may as well not have fixed that.. I'm not saying we hsould have been able to reliably one shot players with them, but it's less than a single 1h r1 on rolling sparks now, and even if you use it "as intended" its... really really bad. It's also nerfed in pve but thankfully not to this degree.
I have no idea why they nerfed the bloodfiends arm, honestly, it was a non-issue that it had so much buildup because.... its a colossal, who is ACTUALLY going to get hit by that? and any boss that it was good against..... it was still better to use curved/twinblades anyway
If you get hit by that, it's the R2 dmg + the instant bloodloss meaning you could die in one hit. Good player just traded hits with other with this making every trade in their favor. For PVE well... it's a different beast I guess.
@@jeromemartel3916 I dont think i've ever been hit by a fully charged r2 anything outside of sneak attacks. still, you'd need physick, 2h tali, and charge tali for that to one shot with a bleed infusion. Would def hurt though, I imagine easy 1600-1800
Well actually the enemy healing at full health also applied to mimics and they didn't fix that so I guess the joke of protecting the enemies and not helping the players is may be onto something
As long as rellanas twin blades and the twin moons don't get touched im happy
Auralia is Chase! Lol he invaded me once and that was the character name. It would be cool to watch you guys test stuff together.
I'm very happy with the speed this patch got put out. Hopefully a more comprehensive one is down the line, that can give love to DLC weapons and spells that are currently useless
I do programming stuff. Making a skill 5000% more damage is easier than youd expect lol
classic elden ring patch: nerf the things that deserved it. NEVER buff the things that are shit tear garbage (like half the incantations), weird nerfs that come out of nowhere, weird changes that probably nobody asked for. this truly was our lobotomy ring
i kinda liked that there was som broken stuff considering the difficulty level of the dlc lol
Good thing I took Radahn down before they updated it…..about 15 minutes before 😂
Swift slash with blood affinity is still goated for me as even with the nerf blood prock is still easy and i dont even spam the ash as the combos of the smith script cirque is still powerful
Great...now can they also nerf the BOSSES, so we don't HAVE to beat them with cheesy OP weapons and spells?
I mean, look at Rellana. She can't be parried, (she can be stunned for a moment, but not reposted). It is VERY hard to break her poise. She goes into her double moon attack way too fast with very little reaction window sometimes, (not all the time, but after helping like over 100 people fight her in co-op, I noticed she can whip that out way too fast sometimes). She can also randomly do a shit ton of damage and basically one shot you out of nowhere. I mean, I've beat her now many many times, but it feels like she is unbalanced. Look at Melania. She can be outpoised, and critical damaged easily, but her damage output is very high. She is much more balanced.
Don't even get me started on Messmer or that f**khead final boss.
Not all DLC bosses are this bad, just a few, and of course they are all story bosses. The DLC is actually kind of bad now that I've played a few times I can see why people are complaining....
I freaking hate the community that shows these fun op builds and get them nerfed.
We can't never have fun
I love it because now all these brain dead monkey mashers that were spamming rolling sparks and swift slash are gonna get steamrolled no more dlc cheese u can just pull out cuz ur losing a duel
The people getting the OP builds used against them aren't having fun, though. I don't mean invasions, because 9/10 times they deserve it (but they can use those builds, too, making it even worse for the invader), but duels and fight clubs.
Bug fixes, not nerfs. These weapons were bugged and not working as intended.
I haven’t had any issues with the grab attack by the hippo asides from purely mistiming the dodge but that’s me. I haven’t noticed that issue
That affinity nerf for the smithscript weapons sucks as a Cirque main 😢
Edit: just played a couple games, it's not that bad actually
So impenetrable thorns are still op nice
Doing some testing of the changes with Chasethebro, huh? Nice.
I was able to dodge the hippo bite consistently, but I had light roll, so idk if that was a factor.
I wish the perfume "bug" was only fixed via nerfing its damage in pvp. There are plenty of busted weapons in pve, I was looking forward to going with a perfumer build the next ng cycle
It's still viable, having the choice to target an enemy's weak element is valuable, though you don't have every option at your disposal. The firespark one might be the strongest now as it can be buffed twice by the physick flask (fire and oil tears), it worked insanely well for me against the putrescent knight, and I didn't have rolling sparks.
Why the quotation marks ? it was a bug, itis now fixed.
It was a bug, not working as intended. Same thing with the fire knight greatsword.
Yeah I know. I built a perfumer character when I first found them and I fear they're 100% useless now. The elemental damage alone is not enough to warrant their inclusion. The cold, frenzy and poison one might still be viable, since they inflict status, but fire and lightning are dead now.
I get that the ash needed fixing, but there should've been a another fix, all they did now was change the AoWs damage from unreasonably high to non-existent.
@@boneman-calciumenjoyer8290 Not trying to be an ass but if you built a perfumer based on that obvious overkill of an ash then I don't know what to tell you.
Gaius was way harder after the first attempt because of his positioning.
Damn, all the new stuff going the way of the most recent fort, night seasons.
Fun slightly overtuned stuff gets added, gets nerfed only a couple weeks later into inexistence.
I was able to dodge the hippo grab by jumping to the side. I don't think it was that bad other than attacking into the hippo as it was about initiate the grab.
wait the Nerved the Grab attack of the hippo but not the charge attack of Gaius???
there are yet folks to have fight gaius for any further complain about that good ol fellas
For the piggy boss the charge you justDodge to the right
I think putting Mr piggy further away from the fog gate is supposed to help I guess.
@@xeresns4596 I dodge in
the hippo bite grab attack can easily avoided by just running to a side :P dont dodge.
Funny how all my spells are untouched, Pure mages eating good this patch. Time to Nuke folks with point-blank gravity orbs and Artillery strikes and orbital bombardments at people burg town.
It's funny watching yours and Chase's videos one right after another
Does anybody know if the Carian Sorcery Sword change added damage scaling to the spells cast? They did piss damage (like maybe 20% of the damage from a normal catalyst) prior to this patch. That's a bit too low in comparison, even by Fromsoft Weapon catalyst standards
Bloodfiends arm is a sad one it was really fun to drop 1400 damage on peoples head in one hit
Still missing Greatsword of Damnation, Claws of Night and the flame light greatsword.
They currently not fixed the bug of the chest's items....so sad n angry. I still can't read notes of npcs
I was able to dodge the hippo no problem after seeing it once. Just strafe and dodge last second lol
it was fun while it lasted
I love how they just call all of their bad balancing " a bug" lul
1:57 I see Chase is back in his OG armor. I'm guessing it has better defenses and thus better for testing.
If you're gonna massively nerf things at least keep them viable 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦
I think one thr perfume is ass now. What about the smithscript? Still good or nah?
They are still good so far. Not over the top but still good @@juniorelizondo4144
It’s sad they made a unique weapon type useless
One of the main reasons i play fromsoft games early is so i can enjoy the broken weapons and skills! I wish they would just nerf everything for PVP and not PVE, i like feeling like a god in a game where i kill gods lol
I kinda loved using the bloodfiend's arm in invasions, but I get the need to patch it. At least I got a few funny clips for my collection.
The carian sword's spell buff is atrocious. I really want to use it, but just cannot justify it.
As someone who loves to use swift slash, this nerf is not as bad as I was worrying about.
I thought it was a skill issue when the G-hippo was using that grab attack.
I couldn't dodge it consistently at all
They should have made it so arrow talismans work on smithscipt
Damn, I was about to get the lightning perfume last night and I wake up to find I can't try that cheese!!!
No extremely sad they already had to nerf it
I just got the lightning and rolling sparks. Used it to kill a fire golem. It was ridiculous. It was awesome. Sad rolling sparks is now useless.
@@bentrieschmannThat's one of the best reasons to use that weapon. Screw those HP sponges
I already saw the lightning perfume getting nerfed
The ash of war on the thumbnail lookin awfully caked up 👀
Blind spot wasn't nerfed. Put the swift slash icon in the thumbnail
Just farned those golem fists last night and they get nerfed.... Bruh
i managed to dodge the hippo grab all you needed to do was run sideway's and then dodge last secon worked for me at least
same i would just jump as it approaches me while running sideways, but hey i personally dont mind nerfing a grab compared to the rest of the moveset
Why would they nerf it?
Lost... sword of night, off hand great katana. Light GK into witching hour lash. Witching hour slash into light gk. Alot of times you can follw up again and catch people for a loop
I fought a few people who did that. Not sure what they were thinking, because they either got stomped or beat me without using the offhand GK.
Dammit ... my lightning perfumes ...
Thumbnail for video shows blind spot AoW. Did i miss something about this one? I saw the nerf to swift slash, but not blind spot.
Still no bug fixes to broken NPC questlines
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO MY HAMMEEEEEEEEER!!!!!!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!
