That worked! I had to use my old W7 laptop to get the program to use the COM port ( Prolific). Thank you!

I have the Radioddity version of this cool little radio (QB25).. Does anyone know how to mod or unclock the VHF VFOs so that I can monitor the Avionics band (108-137MHz)?

that is insane that someone or something would be able to disable TX/RX without users knowledge

Ok Sir, Just find a software that support that radio and download it, read the program of the radio using the cable required and edit some settings and write it back to radio and walahh, it will be ok.
no hay problema me ha pasado eso, conecta al ordenador y restrablece parametros de fabrica y listo... al parecer sucede por que alguien manda un tono y se bloquea....

Idol yong ganyan ko na radio shorted or grounded pag i connect ko sa power source pinuputol nya ang fuse, baka matulongan mo ako lodi!
Good day Idol, subokan mo tingnan yong RF niya baka sira naka direct yan sa power source, may diode sa power source naka parallel din, pero kadalasan RF final ang palaging busted Idol, sana makatulong...
