How come no one gives Green Mage applause to be able to lead a game with all players being separated at the same time. It's really difficult to go back and forth with where you left the other play by who they might've fought, where they're at now, making sure you heard what they got on their dice and not cheat it as you're focusing on the other guy. There's a heck a lot of other things to keep on the watch too when separating large parties than this.
I have a suspicion that Knight Lost-a-Lot might be a mini-boss level enemy if/when we do fight them... as "lost-a-lot" actually implies that they've been through a fair amount of fights.
This game seems better then any game I've ever played. I like how the save points are actual characters with personalities instead of just a book and pen. I really like the design for the combat system, and how they throw you a curve ball by giving the more stoic looking enemies smooth or weird rhythms.

Oh hey, you fought my favorite boss, The Masterpiece! His name applies with the quality with the fight and you don't understand how really amazing it is! It's attacks are real complex and tests everything you had learned while putting twists to it, his theme is pure epic techno, and his design... it screams BADASS!!! He is the best boss i had ever fa-oh wait it's already ded....... What a letdown.
That trashcan had some style to it. Honestly, every fight in this game has something to it that makes it stand out. I'm a little surprised to see we have an offensive ability now, I had expected this to stay purely about dodging. Now I'm curious just how crazy the endgame will get.

Dr orange does seem like a thin robotnik. The music in this games real good. So many tracks. So far its been a real good variety. Alongside its colorful cast. Really like them. It does seem more shootem up than rhythm game. I guess Red dodging just tires them out and combat ends. Unless Reds using magic to drain or attack them. Honestly i think seeing them attack would make sense to why they seem "powerful" That being said the roleplaying game segment added it and made it seem more of a fight. Although not having it deflect individual red shots took away from it being more rhythmic. From the frogs words in the yume nikki door realm, hes definitely immortal too. Really liking this game so far.

I used to play it a lot when I was working at the summer camp. The idea was that you were adventurers of some variety, and were trying to get to the center of the board. I think key collecting was a part of it? And this thing is OLD. Like, it wasn't part of this new wave of complicated tabletop games. It was from the range of 70s to 90s, because it was old when we played it, in the 2000s. EDIT: So... name of the game was a BIG giveaway that I didn't realize for quite some time. The game I was talking about? TALISMAN~!
The amount of stress I get when Manly is playing the songs is unreal. He tries to follow the beat and I'm just sitting here like, " AAAAAA no you totally could've avoided that if you weren't moving to the beat tttt!!!" Mucho love for the guy tho.
Trash can boss is probably THE most fitting boss for Manly-sensei, only thing better would be if it stole your soul which would lead to a sidequest for retrieving it. Said sidequest would involve checking all available trashcans which are, unfortunately empty (like your soul). Finally you'd find a not-empty trash can with your (empty) soul in it.

Actually kind of a shame about the fights that can get cut off early, especially the Dark Knight's chill tunes.
