    Suspension is a key and crucial component on your UTV that provides you with a comfortable riding experience. The tender springs are responsible for providing that plush, smooth ride through the first initial bumps that your suspension encounters. When your RZR is loaded up with all of the gear that you need for your riding excursion your tender springs lose their ability to provide you with that plush and smooth ride. This Tender Spring Swap Kit will help to eliminate some of the RZR XP 1000 2 seater’s poor suspension performance abilities to further enhance your riding experience.

    what will be the result if you install all 4 tender springs from the XP4 1000 . The thing is that while I was going to do both on your video, my front tender spring broke. (I ask to forgive my Google English).

    Why put the font tender spring on the back and not put the rear tender springs from the XP4 1000

  • @paulreid3273
    @paulreid3273 Год назад

    Which 4 seater tenders are you using the front or back ones? I like that this doesn't break the bank. God knows rzr XP 1000s and Turbos need an additional 3-6K in improvements to make what the factory should have done from the start.

    you dont have to remove the rear shock to install these. leave the upper bolted in. easy peasy.

    My 18 only has one spring on the front shocks.

    Why not just change the back tender spring?

    you really should put the torque wrench on the nut, not the bolt, if possible........great video!!!!!! :-)

    If your front is higher than your rear by more than 3/4”, how would you adjust it to make it correct?

    • @joeyc4083
      @joeyc4083 4 года назад

      front is supposed to be higher...and u can always adjust the preload collar at the very top which will lower the car if you move it up

    My 2018 RZR XP 1000 doesn't have dual rates with a spacer up front. Its just a normal big spaced spring for 75% of the unit and then has 4 or 5 rungs tight coiled at the top. Can someone explain that to me.

    • @stonerion80
      @stonerion80 4 года назад +1

      It's a progressive spring instead of having a constant rate with a tender up top

    Does replacing the tender spring or adjusting it change the overall width ?

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  4 года назад

      It wont make your machine wider but depending on your pre-load settings you might gain a bit of ground clearance with this kit.

    What is the difference between dual spring and dual rate?

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  5 лет назад

      Dual spring is actually two separate springs (one inside or on top of the other) and a dual rate spring is one spring but the coils have varied spacing so it acts as two springs depending where its at in the stroke. Hope that helps!

    tender springs are just shorter coil springs ?

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  8 месяцев назад +1

      Correct. It's a smaller coil spring that is a softer rate than the main spring.

      thank you! do know its benefits instead of running larger coils with softer rate ? @@rmatvmc

      Unfortunately we only carry this for the 2014-2018 models. But you can find these for the 2022 RZR.

    I would not waste my money on this. It is nothing more than a "Band-Aid" temporary fix. Theres really nothing wrong with the factory 165lb front tender spring rate (even though it weakens over time). The issue is the main "bottom" spring . Factory rate is 210lb and thats too soft. It needs to be replaced with a 10" long 250-300 lb spring. The rear needs about a 8-10" long 200lb tender spring on top of the factory 200lb main spring. Crossover rings are highly recommended also, especially for the front. So 165/300 front and 200/200 rear would be ideal for somebody who wants to retain use of some of the factory springs and save some cash.

      Brian F I was going to replace my springs I had one break, do u have any suggestions where to get them? I ride in rough rides.

      PAC racing springs. Summit Racing has a wide selection of springs also, including Eibach.

      Quick question . I swapped out a full set of xp4 springs to a 2 seater razor 1k . I did this instead of just doing the tender swap. Am I close to your suggestion in the comments above.

    • @bcfmef
      @bcfmef 6 лет назад +1

      Xp4 rear setup is perfect for the rear on a 2seat xp. Xp4 front setup is stiff on a 2seat. BUT use the bottom XP4 spring, which is 335lbs, and use it in combination with the factory 165lb tender spring. this will give you an initial combined rate of 110lbs, which is similar to many of the aftermarket spring kits for the 2seat 1K. the front 165 tender is only available from the 2014 to 2016 models as starting in 17, Polaris went to a single spring setup. should be able to find 165 spring for around $130 a pair new. Hope everything works good for you

      Brian F I have the same situation but my tender springs are in full bind on all 4 shock assemblies. So I’m not sure if reusing the stock 165 lb tender spring would be the right choice.
