I watched this with very little idea of Rain World was. It was very nice. I went and binge-read the wiki for several hours, getting increasingly astounded and aghast. I came back and watched it all again. It was really nice. I don't think I can play this game, but I love the way you played it. Congrats on the WR!
easy short list would be no dreams, skip karma caching, skip gate animations. I'm not sure if other changes make sense and would still be the same game
@@icetoblerones an option to skip dreams would be nice. With the parity update tho, cashing will be fixed. Also, I would consider the gate animations to be an important equalizer for people with lesser computers, but its not always the case that the animation completely covers up the time a region takes to load

That movement is called pole regrab climbing. It works doing the regular climbing boost, by holding up and pressing jump. And then cancelling the lag by jumping off the pole to the opposite side of it, by holding up + side and pressing jump again.
Exploit called karma cashing. Allows for gaining karma and achievement progress without playing full days. First starve and then quit within 30 seconds of the start of the next day. For Downpour, it is included in the vanilla exploits remix option

I used livesplit when I did the run. Trying to move towards having nothing on top of the game footage. I think I had less than 10 attempts in this category anyways so splits aren't meaningful in the first place.
