  • "Bilateral Motion Display" produces user-oriented visual perception by using afterimage effects for specific motion. Initially, it seems that the displayed patterns do not reveal any information; however, seen by a user moving his/her gaze in a certain direction and speed, they are spatially integrated to appear as 2D afterimages. The system expands the range of display expression and has various potential applications such as in road signs.
