I had the privilege of meeting Mark Menendez maybe 25 years ago at a bass pro shops... he was buying a bunch of his signature series rogues for some Christmas presents, and he found me in the parking lot after talking to me inside for a while and gave me several of the baits too... will never forget it and he was a super nice guy. Wish you all the best Mark! 👍🙏
Stopped in on the way back from my daughters volleyball tournament in Florida. I drove past it three times. When I finally got in there I was blown away. I looked at my daughter and said were going to be e here a while, she just said I know. A great shop I walked out 300 dollars lighter with a grin on my face
If that box of Rebel were all Mid Wee R's I would be driving through the night with a fist full of cash to work out a deal on them. For the way I fish its the most perfect crankbait ever made! That box full of Rouge's screams March 1990's Lake Fork. I wore out so many of those baits back then before most were lost to the many submerged stumps on that lake. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
Should definitely get the 5th shed as a retro bassin shed! Great video. I'll be making my way down there from IL this spring to check out the tackle box!
I havent been to Florida in years, but i intend on going there in july. Im gonna have to see if the times align and ill have to stop in here at Walters shop. Hopefully time will stand still for a bit. Another great video.
There's a red eye shad from strike king that they changed the chartreuse color. The OLD one caught fish and I couldn't pay for a bite on the newer color.
@RetroBassin I had two of the spring activated lures one was lost to bass the other one a friend caught a 5lb 8 ounce bass I have looked everywhere for those lures my friend called them twitch tails

Wow, 'The Tackle Box' is the best name for a bait shop I have ever heard of! It's so simple, yet so perfect. Love to see stuff like this.

Mark is an awesome dude!
Those Lateral Perch baits are deadly!!! Still sought after here in South Texas where they were created!!!!
Menendez is a great guy. Very knowledgeable. One of those guys that when he talks, you sit and listen.
You should be an interviewer! You let the guest TALK which hardly anyone else seems to know how to do. This was cool, thanks.
He is an interviewer
The older Smithwicks are good ! The last 5 years their junk ! The bill breaks off alot ! And quick ! Lucky craft i switched too !
Smithwick Suspending Rogue in Perch was killer- also The Tiger Stripe Devil Horse!
Outstanding work. The old packaging of lures brings back memories.
Mr. Menendez brought some heat🔥SK Series 4 cranks are slept on
When I grew up in late sixties and seventies there were a lot of mom and pop tackle shops .
Big box stores killed them .
Mark is a Gentleman!! Love him !!!
I bought a bunch of swimbaits from him after the last video. I will definitely buy again. Currently looking for some of the berkley grubs from the 90s
Reminds me of a childhood bait shop. Good stuff
