Hey Tom, here is a link for the components. I usually get them from ebay or cabelas and usually just go with the cheapest one. I have five favorite colors of snake worms; Wintergreen but they don't make it anymore, White, Sundrop, Chartreuse Glitter, and Lemon Lime. Jig color is White or Pearl head, red wrap and white tail. and all of Striper Sniper jigs except the blue head, they just don't work as good for me. I use 50 lb mono leaders. If they aren't hitting snake worms I use 4" sassy shads and chartreuse Fish Head Spins with gold blades. Snake worm rigs seem to work better at 2.7 mph and sassy shad rigs at 2.0-2.2 mph. Hope this helps. stripersniper.com/ www.slevad.com/ www.cabelas.com/product/fishing/fishing-line/leader-material/pc/104793480/c/104719680/sc/104130180/yd-leader-skein/2962160.uts?slotId=1 www.junebugtackle.com/product/12-inch-6-arm-regular-umbrella-frame/ www.cabelas.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=702222&type=product&WT.z_btnclk=YMAL-702222&WT.z_pg_ref=prd2950746 www.cabelas.com/product/fishing/terminal-tackle/swivels-snaps-clevises/pc/104793480/c/104779980/sc/104616180/black-crane-swivel/2961837.uts?slotId=9 www.ebay.com/itm/Hi-Seas-Grand-Slam-Aluminum-Crimps-for-Mono-Fluorocarbon-Fishing-Leader-500-Pack/223705995391?_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item3415ea987f:m:mIejnCQy9Ji-xDtlPPwuOTw&enc=AQAEAAACUBPxNw%2BVj6nta7CKEs3N0qVZUcIr9TdNEoQO4UqMaazgC3hD2YcyBipX1Q1nBdvsRl%2FOJ6guvTu8uHRl9UrbDugMZO%2FlPwiyskRiSOZNoWUBLSgP8QIxbW7dZzujbV7WBYRRO4mdtNS95g2Cj%2FDMi4rGtTcM59jokcZgA6wMgZMyErqLMqLuuqKxHzzUBGKAh4g7%2BHBeNJJgpdeZ1hYnUwgG3LWOebMFOtVOFC6TaG8isxlL6x%2F6Oj%2BvSVHexieLtzYIH6op1DCGRxPebNOEBjtmH9Zvr5UBL74IaZN4zLuEhU7ApbUhlLXPixdSfEdbDUkXGBFWBdOeEBJiSLnBPgQ3hwwKoWeamKVO%2FRbT6EflJYP08ipGMu%2B3%2FBhIRJrex7S4n%2Fyz6Mwi0sDUcUWfw1b0Nj0GB3fvoUIhDx1%2BSy2nKeyZhbigCm7MyXo0nJfGoDsJ5q6U2iavLtLtfwP23RpP0snsga7AXFN83EurwubunF4VrNdJUd66iaWoHuvWWkW6PThS4YW4kBQHQYYKJ9tZ2E%2BiJRF3IAwze7AVQxQu9Az4snT0QlM0yP1xFNryxdVLFqJXgW1SKZZzVEhcOGiNoX0LM7DliYoTUKoFRzm9b9B85YyyFWnythXVKjKaDlb%2F2JM2E7n8TsxGMuk7OUCPtrwUl0GTRXbGLVtn4l63D5e0zsWR3QhlhLH393PBOneM5DYmmspCWigD4cUcZQ5rR1Dozy6yrOYHuFlPhPF2EEWldidREq6UXRIIFL5rmNMxeYKP8v%2BcEd9Tu%2FN07Kg%3D&checksum=223705995391cb0c2c10746040ce81e3864f39b648cd www.ebay.com/itm/Penn-10-Leader-Crimp-Corrosion-Resistant-Fishing-Tool-Crimper-10XRLC-NEW/311484627143?epid=1142248598&hash=item4885ee38c7:g:0zEAAOSwG1RcWJuZ www.ebay.com/itm/Fish-Head-Spin-Underspin-Jig-Bladed-Swimbait-Jig-Head-Lead-Head-Fishing-Lure/192819172288?_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item2ce4eb13c0:m:maWKSPBHOsKgsBddfhBpDsw&enc=AQAEAAACQBPxNw%2BVj6nta7CKEs3N0qUBPzovZWsJExEBBmz9mWERdBp5xqBAH6Emk0b0Vb7xVeX30x6Awx1aj9TGrsfdyvIVN7MxZaPhFX3YIZcxj2ZFRQWcGY6Yj7JFSj%2F4r4j%2FaPEdLb143D9gxWr0v52Z0hNPkI37wneDYH2xfxdpj7VQXPtoza45CLI989rq4s4EAXay0mqMGrkuk9IX%2Bl25pnPxZ8hDpnOQIMgSqJ02KeRFCVjFy1NwEot7YGjbW4OQ0z3XKKkITaa2pyOtm5Sjg3xhk9gWrTIRUNZj5PWN%2Btbt06%2F2hLLcBAvZtyl4gx6C2xDojBrIyQqufIO8Ffr%2BQaFILHn0kn3tJ49N20PeCqt1xZJZK26%2FZu4MHx0oml%2BcnT1vBU8v%2F%2F%2BQonwzbPQTEhwXtZOBHC2Go823gfW3fjDpcr4eJhbV0%2BkNs%2BwhTKzXzVnLQunNd0oLS1zs54ybPax01Qd7cFhjI2yQUfmZhSHGLlLGWZ8EwMngdcy3O4WVnYKXk%2BwU8ekF%2Fx2ahKQHtc9MeENPQnNTcHJM2p%2ByB33T9%2F6DKcjBYvX1i3BN6kJvtsk4BLov4YspjvS8ozft1tIkmgTBKK65PSA8%2B4QCr%2BY150DeHhNgkT0O207qyNCgcmiApwDGUDfazRgi0%2Frkux%2F3qGpIi%2FBJndRG7OnRw2btUAz0Z9Fa5%2BJkkk67laa7gxgbKEwyTd%2BtAd3W2TGvcJ1ZyoaZuCgrfZ9yMSiYTzYxXXttFTjK6d5VddSN0ElXXQ%3D%3D&checksum=1928191722888fe5e1bbbd5546df8df82588ea85c3db www.ebay.com/itm/4-Shad-Bodies-Paddle-Tail-Swimbait-great-for-Umbrella-Rig-25-pk-bag-Sassy-Shad/254444285882?hash=item3b3e0fafba:m:mrI4Ul-lz06DSCqeC9Sr65w:sc:USPSFirstClass!28645!US!-1
@@piedmontfishing824 Thanks for the list of components. I fished Lake Rhodhiss on Wednesday. No morning bite but the afternoon was average. Used a Captain Macks Umbrella Rig on my rods and trolled at 2.5 to 2.7 MPH. Best bite was near the Valdese water station on the south side of the river. I was in 23 ft of water and was slammed by a 9lb fish. Also pick up some more bites just west of the Rhodhiss Bridge on the south side of the river. Seems between the bridge and the water station was good. Was clear and I was fishing about 20 ft deep with the rig. Tried some Alabama rigs to switch it up with no luck. They seemed to like the U-Rigs. Temps were mid seventies, water temp 54 degrees, no wind to very small breeze and the water had some stain on it but not muddy. Had to keep clearing trash of my rigs until afternoon when just enough of a breeze cleared out the river trash. Thanks for the video as this was my first time fishing Rhodhiss. You really made a difference for me. Hopefully we can meet up sometime. - TOM
Thanks for the videos!
How is Hickory in October? I plan on going this weekend debating u-rigs or live bait. Thanks
The sound of the motor was hard to listen to but enjoyed the rest .
Nice video good fish your trolling right in front of my house lol
Nice video! For what it’s worth, it’s sassy shad season so shad vs. shad might have been a better comparison. Looking forward to the next video!
What kind of rod do you use. Medium or medium heavy
Medium heavy, medium is a little light for a six arm umbrella.
Can you tell me the components again on what you use for the Striper Sniper Umbrella Rig? Where did you purchase those components?
