JJ, I would not be surprised if you don't have a couple of detours on your way ultimately "UP", myself on the other hand ... I'll be sure to be going straight to "Halifax" !. I kicked myself years later that I had not gone on a grave tour of some sort somewhere down there, a midnight grave tour perhaps which would add to the spooky nature of it as shadow figures move through between the graves. That is quite something though, the strange structures they build and I took note in St Augustine Florida that the graves were above ground but were not houses like that but more like an enlarged version of a coffin made out of some type of masonry substance if not solid slabs of rock, the grave site I wanted to go into was of course locked but could see through the wrought iron fence that some were leaning to one side or the other due to the nature of the ground being so close to the ocean. I had gone on a paid walking tour of the French Quarter though and was interesting to have done that anyway, I sure saw a few very sketchy locals that were sitting there though looking at the tourists, as the tourists are gawking about unaware, those questionable people scheming their next victim they are going to rob.
Here's a good one though that your sitting in a bar on Bourbon Street reminded me of, someone I used to know years back had told me he had been in the french quarter while on a business trip and the one evening he is checking out Bourbon Street and apparently then and may still be the same way, they allowed a person to take a paid for drink ( I assume a bottle of beer ) out of one establishment and walk down the street to experience some of the other bars or just wander around. Well he was interested in checking out some of the other bars ... the live music etc, so he is doing just that and upon entering into one bar he takes a few steps in and took him a little bit to grasp what was going on, that men were dancing as couples ... OH OH, so he carefully backs up, retreating from the scene he did NOT intend to be a part of. I asked him, so you made sure to cover your "ass"ets is what your trying to say ? 🤣

JJ, if there was enough of a gap in the wall you might have been able to take your tape measure and slide it up like a fish wire to pull with, just a thought as yes these days wire coat hangers are a hard thing to come by. In fact I think you should buy a small roll of mechanics wire as that may come in handy at some point to haywire something together temporarily, duct tape is good for some things but haywire ... it has a variety of uses too.

Great video, you didn't post the price of the campground in New Orleans so Nancy looked it up. online it says $125 a night. I know campgrounds have went up everywhere. Your not really afraid of Goast are you? I have to say, you make a good video. Love the grave yard, not sure why they would charge more for one person. Oh well, you did good there by getting in free. It's good no one asked you, "well, who are you here to see?" Anyway thanks for sharing, Bill from Georgia

I don’t have a portable fridge. It came in a kit for something but don’t remember.
