This video is what? 14 years old? They're second grammy. Now here we are over a decade later, they have a new bass singer (now however he's been with ptx longer than avi, I THINK. or very close to it). And since Matt, another Grammy and nominated for a 4th and 5th. They never lost a step.

This was a Tchaikovsky piece from the Nutcracker ballet. What I loved in this was a breakdown in the last third of the piece that was like a classical development section in a first movement of a symphony-just incredible!

The original song is played in a major key, often with sharp bells, making it light and cheerful. This version is sung in a minor key with drawn out mellow tones turning it less Christmas and more Halloween. It's amazing how so few changes can completely alter the dynamics of a song.

Great talent to reproduce this music by an orchestra only song with no instruments. Perhaps for your lack of enthusiasm so early in the day - you will have this song playing in your head all day. lol I have to admit, I prefer to hear them singing actual words but I still totally appreciate their accuracy in creating this piece of music with vocal notes and sounds. It’s still fun to listen to.
