The group that is only vocals performs music that has no words and wins a Grammy.
Their version of Carol of the Bells is one of my favorites of theirs.

If I recall correctly, that category was added because of Pentatonix so they could win their first Grammy for Daft Punk
Not added but renamed so they were qualified for that category
Avi was majoring in opera and choral music when Pentatonix came up so he could definitely carry this song. Someday you might look at his original music.
Scott was holding his arms because he uses his hands and arms when he sings and it kills him when he can't. He did it also in Say Anything, he was digging his hands into the chair Kirstie was sitting on.

"The Prayer" and "I Saw Three Ships" off their new album are terrific. "Little Drummer Boy" and "Mary Did You Know" are masterpieces from the Avi years.
Pentatonix has a song New Year’s Day that they performed in New York at the 2016 NYE party.
Love that song!!
Whenever this Grammy winner comes up, I can't help but wonder what the other nominees in this category thought when they checked out the competition. And for the first one especially... Daft Punk. Those guys had to be either blown away or left scratching their heads over PTX.
In their live performance of Aha, Singapore the star vista, Avi blows a speaker he goes so low. Just as Mitch goes to the ground you can hear the speaker go.
Pentatonix has about 10 albums worth of music, their rabbit hole goes deep. So you gentlemen have a lot of songs left to select from...lol!

Truly mind wrenching display of their talent and musical skill.
An no autotune. They do not use any artificial enhancement and every song they you see on RUclips or TV, they do live in concert.
There were 2 or 3 times were Avi blew out the bass speakers in live shows with his super low notes.
😀 For Christmas I would recommend you do 'O Come All Ye Faithful'. This isn't like the Christmas Carol done at Grandma's church. But then they probably have 50 songs for Christmas. You guys pic one or two. For the play list, their new one isn't likely to be blocked yet (blur it anyway). 'My Heart With You'

Hello and thanks for the suggestions, shhh, don't tell everyone but we have been hard at work doing all our videos up to Boxing day, so that we can have some time off and get ready for Christmas, I will be popping in to keep an eye on the comments and reply where I can.
We do have another PTX, but no one of those, hope you enjoy it anyway.
We have the final Monday coming out and a bit of fun on that one and back with something very fun on New Year's Eve.

You guys do know that any video they put out they do it live... And it sounds as good if not better. Play the video Hallelujah and then the live version (you've done the live before but do them together.) Most people think they either sound the same or the live is better... And the video has almost 700 million views. It's beautiful.

You said you were finished recording for up until Christmas, but just in case, I would suggest either their live of 'Carol of the Bells' from their 'Christmas under the Stars' special this year, or the official video of 'O Come all ye Faithful'.
New year suggestion is their cover of Elton John's 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight' . BP1 said he'd like to see more of Kirsty in the front, and Kirsty is definitely prominent in that one (my fellow Pentaholics will no doubt be smirking at that, but no matter how I say it, it sounds like a double entendre, so my apologies). Matt also kicks butt on the bass line, and you're in for a bit of a Mitch slap.
You have so many goodies left, you haven't done Sound of Silence or Imagine yet either. And about 180 others lol. Imagine is special, both vocally and visually.
Lastly, 'Shut the advent calender door' will go down in history as one of my favourite ever comments.

Sorry, we had some many requests as you can imagine and we tried to mix up the artists for our Christmas run in, with some alternatives in there too.,

I really like their cover of Hallelujah! If you haven’t listened to it yet, I highly recommend it! I also LOVED their live performance of Seasons of Love.
You need to check out the "12 days of Christmas". PTX take a boring song and re-invent it. Also "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" with a coat of PTX loses the "Boring" tag.

My suggestion for your next Pentatonix reaction is one of their newer releases from their new Christmas album, Evergreen. The song is called "The Prayer" and is a cover of the Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli version. It's extremely popular and every one is expecting a lot of awards for it.

I love this video. I thoroughly enjoyed your reaction. The next Christmas song I recommend is 12 days of Christmas. You I would thoroughly enjoy there cover of the prayer. It was released October 29 and has already got 3.9M Views. Although the prayer is not a Christmas song they put it on there Christmas album For this year titled evergreen. 2 other songs you might Enjoy Sing and love again. These are original songs.
Y’all should check out more of their originals! Love Me When I Don’t and Happy Now are both amazing!

There are live performances of this on the Kelly Clarkson show and other places. Check them out if you don't believe it sounds as good live. And it is a c(h)eleste which plucks the strings like a harp instead of hitting them with a hammer the way a piano key does. Always enjoyable to hear your reaction.
