singer has one of the best voices in music.
Blown. Away.
I only heard Nothing Good Has Happened Yet a long time ago, and my iPod's youtube didn't have any other songs by We Are the Ocean show up. Now, on my laptop, I've found them and their songs are just going to be on replay from now on
beautiful..real music..i love it..people 'have forgotten what it feels like' to listen to proper music :) x
They are amazing and they are getting better. Way better.

I have a so much love for WATO, I just saw them at Counter Revolution Brisbane and they were actually amazing! I got to talk to Tom for about half an hour, just about England and just stuff. It was so amazing!!!!!!! They are so good. COME BACK TO AUSTRALIA

Cant wait to see these live in november with the Blackout !! BRING IT ON :D AHHH
This is so great :D
they have so much fun in the videos, I mean Dan practically spazzes across the stage.
EPIC CHORUS....that is all that needs to be said
This is the best Rock song of this Year.
q buena banda we are the ocean!!!!!!!!!!
nice song
Watched them play an acoustic set at warped tour Houston this year. His voice is so fucking powerful and beautiful, his guitarist harmonized amazingly and combined they gave me a rush of goosebumps. He has to be heard live. The whole set was amazing... I wish these guys the best in the coming years as they heal over the loss of a singer.
wow. this song sums up whats going on in my life and mind right now.
@TheHampsey83 sounds AWESOME! I now really want to goto one of their gigs...
AMAZING
Loving the new album...to me this is their best :)
dunno why everyone complains about him not screaming anymore... he still sounds awesome and has a brilliant singing voice that contrasts perfectly with the singers. and this way, he's not destroying his vocal chords. and two or three years down the line, will still be able to sing.
Went to see them a few days ago in Warsaw, Dan talked to me during the concert because I was the only person in the entire venue (small venue) to have both 'Go Now And Live' and seen them before :) After the concert I chatted to Liam a bit, and then to both lead singers of The Blackout :) Amazing night.
same here, :( + that i would have to come all the way from holland me and my friend talked about it and disided to go next year:D im soo much looking forward to it:D
They sang this at the concert I went to in February < 3
Pretty AWSUM
THIS IS THE BEST WATO SONG
@snomba Too right mate! I'm from essex so i've loved them since 2007/2008.
Dan has an awesome voice. His clean vocals are great & his screaming fits their style perfectly. Don't get me wrong though, Liam's vocals are some of the best I've ever heard. These guys definitely deserve to be much bigger.
SCREAMS RULE
First UK stop coming up this Saturday 23rd at Portsmouth Guildhall.
Tickets only £7.50 still available on the door.
i do love how the screamer (ive not known them for long dont know his name =/ ) just jumps around like a maniac in all of their vids xD
So true :D
i love how no one would know these if it wasnt for radio 1 these guys are fucking unreal
dude i sceww 3 years i knew about these guys 4 years ago
Dan can still scream, he screams live, but he wanted to prove he could do something differently with his voice. And yes, that is a quote.
Closest thing I can find to Alexis this band, so far
We Are The Ocean are playing Portsmouth Guildhall on 23rd April. Tickets only £7.50 at See Tickets.
Fucking amazing live.
WATO needs to come to the US!!!
@TheNewMalone oh my!
They have changed alot these past years :D they're awsome :D
they should play Warped Tour!
@RyaanMusic exactly what I was thinking, thanks for putting it into words :) I had the chance seeing them the 2nd of may in Amsterdam, after 3 years of waiting (due to money problems or they played at the other side of the country xD...) and the guys were exhausted, but still gave a pretty awesome performance. Next time when they come over to the Netherland, I'll be there :)
going see them on friday :D thumbs up for we are the ocean (Y)
i love WATO
i'd love the screamers singing voice, it's so cool
Pfft.
A band changing styles doesn't mean they're "selling out", for the sake of higher record sales, fans or whatever. It's progression. As bands mature, their music often does with them.
Yes, "Go Now and Live" is a far more accessible album than "Cutting Our Teeth", but it's far more cohesive, and honestly, it's just better. The musicianship of these guys on this album is absolutely brilliant.
Stop hating.
This album rocks.
Essa música é uma delicia de tocar na guitarra
yes...F1 did bring here me the first time...but the last 100 times is because i like the song...still a year after the F1 video
@iDrownKittns songs like confessions are hardly dull, the guitar solo is amazing!
my friend got a picture at the concert. i saw them with silversteen. :3!!^^
@Jdesflynn Dan Brown. You should see him at gigs. He just goes mental. At Birmingham he just jumped of stage into the crowd, microphone being fed to him by the roadees, and started screaming/moshing with everyone in the crowd. Twas insane.
Dan is doing what he wants to be doing. What's so bad about that? He deserves to be happy and do what he wants. If he doesn't want to sing for We Are The Ocean then that's fine because that's his decision.
I've liked them since the start. But they're new stuffs pretty good too. (:
Warped Montreal!
@iDrownKittns cutting our teeth was not a crap album, it's amazing! songs like confessions, this is called my home, all of this has to end, neck of the woods and look alive (and i know the last two were from their second EP but none the less they put them on cutting our teeth as well) are some pretty damn good songs and in my opinion some of the best they have ever produced along with their self titled EP.
@snomba They were on radio 1? o,o whennnnnn??
Dude I love this 'shit' as my friends would call it. They're amazing with and without the screaming.
As much as I love his old screaming his voice in the new stuff is so unique I love it even more... Would be nice for him to do a bit of both, which you get a bit of at parts but its not quite the same.. hehe
this band reminds me alot of alexisonfire, mainly cause the guitar has a killer fucking voice and the screamer sounds very similar to wade of AOF... talented young lads. keen to see them later this year.
@SMitchellNI agree, and the heavier vocals sound a little like George Petite (my opinion) i heard this band on Radio 1... instantly fell in love
I like Dan's voice
I'm going to miss Dan so much!
@SMitchellNI agree, and the heavier vocals sound a little like *correction* Wade MacNeil (my opinion) i heard this band on Radio 1... instantly fell in love
Like Hawthorne Heights!
This has been stuck in my head all week and I keep thinking it's Alexisonfire. >.< Which kinda annoys me, cause it's soo similar, but at the same time it's probably why I'm getting into this band.
i didnt really get into their first album or the ep before that. Just thought it was a bit generic. But their new album really steps up. Its just a all around great rock album without trying to please anyone group of people. Its like Taking Back Sunday circa Where You Want To Be being covered by Alexisonfire while borrowing Thrice's guitar peddles.
AND YES THAT"S A GOOD THING
i believe he is actually now the bands manager
Some people r jst born to dislike awesomeness
Hmm.
Just heard it on Kerrang!
Never bothered check these guys out...but they're actually pretty good^^;;
saw them at guild hall, fucking brilliant. fave song atm \m/(^_^)\m/
@MrAndyZero It's not screaming that is the generic thing. It's lack of variation within the style of music. Just because they take out the screaming it doesn't mean they're different from every other band out there. To be honest it probably just means they've made a complete genre swap and started sounding like other bands.
This band kicks so much ass!!! >:D
Irei sentir falta :'(
Eles votaram ❤
Does anyone know where i can find these big black/white rooms bands shoot their videos in ?
oh my, this was fucking mental last night at the manchester academy
@Asia94nt I like them all in the band. I really hate it when people say get rid of the screamer of something though I find it funny that they got the same "fan issue" with deaf havana. They want the screamer out.(now they don't have the Ryan sadly) I love them both. I want more bands like this.
@PipBobalibus Couldnt agree more man! Its sort of alexisonfire and Queens of the stone age!
Dan is still gonna work behind the scenes with the guys...so not all hope is lost yall :D
@WhitechapelAddiction Saw them at Redfest this weekend. They fucking rocked live
