- The Galaxy Fighters beasts had a couple pretty interesting things like a Pegasaurus but that wasn’t as rare as a Horse! Speaking of rare I also got that darn Robic.

as a toy horse collector instead of an action figure collector i can say articulated horses were super rare, and the most you could hope for was one that has its mouth open like that one does. i loved when toy horses had open mouths so i could wrap yarn around them and make a real bridle ( i think i only ever had 2 with open mouths, one was shera's swift wind ). i would have used that loop to make reins with string.
it's kinda nice the action figure fans also shared the annoyance of horses never being able to move. now u see why i got so excited over barbie's articulated horses even though i had no shits to give about the doll and just played with the horse by itself, lol
"Terrifies every enemy!" is the best selling point I have ever fucking seen.
Owlman and a dragon being called a Pegasaurus-I HAVE to put that into my next D&D game
I find it amusing that the horse is just called HORSE. Not DESTRIER or WAR STALLION or STEED or even RIDER

Isn't it 100% common sense that the boring horses would be the rarest? These were toys initially sold to children, not to collectors. It's amazing anyone bought them at all. What kid would ask their parents for the horse rather than the dinosaur thing? And who would save the horse as a cool toy from their childhood?
At the same time, I could see them mass-producing Horses since they are so cheap and lazy to make.

Dunno if anyone's mentioned this yet, but robic seems to be an arachnid theme; mainly a scorpion.
the head is shaped like a stinger and the eyes along with the black colors sort of forms a scorpion. the basket weave texture is probably webbing.
Why not name him Scorpius then?
I actually think it would be really cool if someone made a redesign of Robic that actually made him look more like a scorpion.

One reason that the horse is rare is because it's probably an albino horse, and everyone knows how rare albino animals can be.

I had Robic as a kid and figured he was an owlman.
I find it interesting that both Warriors and Fighters are treated as roughly the same collector's value (mostly), although unopened Galaxy Warriors appear to go for much more.

Bootlegs are so cool sometimes. This shows gotten me into collecting them . Well I already did but only Lego bootlegs because many bootleg LEGO has cool stuff not officially made in real LEGO and for much cheaper .

Turly Gang (another Galaxy Fighters/Galaxy Warriors based figure line) which basically are figures meant to be space sci-fi armor instead of fantasy armor, has the Pegasaurus and Demon Fighter, but in different colors (Green and pink) also Turly Gang is meant to be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles knockoff, so you have Galaxy Fighters figures (and beasts) in different colors, and with TMNT plastic heads.

The head of Robic is a mutated cob of corn without the corn kernels.

I'd imagine that the horses being the rarest could have an in-universe explanation as in very few(about 30 or less) horses survive around the Galaxy Warriors/Fighters time period & are thus seen as luxury creatures amongst the few who've seen them or mythical creatures to many others.

I need Hasbro to buy the IP rights to Galaxy Warriors and Fighters... Rerelease them as a new line of toys..... Complete with cartoon. Just like My Little Pony Friendship is Magic.

That just gets called the castle from this line sometimes because it sort of tried to attach itself to Galaxy Warriors but it's just another castle made by other people to be usable with MOTU type figures. The Castle of Doom drawings don't really match the Monster Castle either.
