The 1,500 Gallon Tank UPDATE!!!

- Vic and Josh Gives an update on the 1,500 gallon aquarium. This aquarium not only serves as a stunning display tank but as a coral farm as well. Every week hundreds of corals are fragged from this display tank. This allows for healthy aquacultured corals for our customer, but it also means that the 1,500g never gets to fully grow out to the best of it's capability. With the 4,000 gallon system almost on it's way, Casper's home can finally retire from producing frags. With the new 4,000 gallon system taking over it's role, the 1,500 gallon tank can finally blossom with larger colonies.

I love the honesty in this video... "gem tangs are ugly"
That's the thing there is a fish for everyone!
I never cease to be amazed at the tanks of WWC. Thanks guys!
Thank you so much!
They make new lenses for the lights so they spread less and penetrate more 😊
I’m in town from Chicago, I saw WWC (both locations) for the first time and I’m thoroughly impressed. Everything looks as good as it does in the videos and every detail of the store is so well thought out and maintained. 10/10 recommend visiting if you’re visiting Orlando. I’ve been here for a few days and I already went twice 😂
Thank you for taking the time to stop into both locations Devin. Glad to hear that you had a great time!!!!
What an amazing reef tank display. Enjoyed this episode. 👌🔥✌️💯
Thank you for watching!!!
Definitely worth visiting both stores in Orlando if possible !! Drove all the way from NYC just to visit the lagoon tank in front of the store ! Words can’t describe how beautiful that system is !!
Thank you for making that trip!!!! I am glad to hear that it was worth it 🤩
The XR30 High Intensity Lens Kit will reduce your lighting power needs by half. I’m using your 1500g schedule and switched to these lenses because my lights are high up like your 1500 (>12” above water).
Getting 300 par 18” deep only requires 60% point intensity in Mobius compared to 100% with the stock lenses.
At $30/lens, it’s a crazy good cost/benefit ratio for those of us with high mounted lights where the 120° spread is wasted.
Lenses surely make a night and day difference. If spread is not a concern, then that's the way to go!
Thx guys, that was fun to see
$100k or more in corals, so amazing!
I'd have to agree!
Would love to see what runs these systems!!! Love all your videos sheets waiting for the notification for the next
The tank's beautiful. Looking forward to seeing it in April... Also. Please more species naming! I don't mind the hobby names, but I really want to know: Is it an abrolhosensis, or a spicifera, cytherea, hoeksemai, yungei? I know that's a tall order sometimes. But If you know it, can you please label it? It would go such a long way for the hobby if vendors kept the species ID with the hobby names.
Aside from that, the conversation is always a great benifit. In my own 20" high tank, the spread of a Gen 5 or 6 is excellent. But, seeing the example of where you start needing extra punch is valuable.
Likewise the flow discussion was superb. I know I've debated the ECM42 over something like a MP60 for my own 200 gallon 6 foot tank, and hearing the thought process and specific use cases is what helps inform our home-debate about hobby tanks. Even knowing a Panta Rhei is overkill for what I have, didn't stop me from considering & debating it. That's where the value of your discussion's come in.
I hope you enjoyed the content!
6:26 there is a smoke detector chirp the same time he’s talking about scheduled equipment maintenance 😂😅 stay safe guys and your smoke alarm will take care of you 😂
Safety First! lol
Seeing this in person does not compare to what you see on RUclips. This store is a MUST visit if you’re in the area
Thank you so much for stopping by! The class was fantastic!
Definitely enjoying all the updates
Please keep them coming. I’m in WWC mode all day long.
We will and thank you so much for the support!
Does the flow direction in tanks like this alternate? Sort or like how the tides work?
Same thing happened to my orange shoulder tang
0:18 Casper for the win.
Casper always for the win
Tank looks awesome. Are you guys going to be at the FL Frag swap in Lakeland in February?
We can find out for you
Hey I found Casper several times 😂😂
He does love the spotlight
when will swamp things be FS???
I do srvc and every client that I visit bimonthly, each visit I clean and maintain the wave makers and dusting off the lights. That's just being thorough but I understand that many who partake in this industry are not....
Woah.
Absolutely unreal. It's amazing how these tanks almost have zero nuisance algae. Besides the 30% water change, I'd love to hear more about organic and/or mechanical filtration.
Thank you, There is a bunch of work that goes into that as well. We do have a Diver that will go in and clean the system. But doing a full equipment break down we can look to do.
@@WorldWideCorals sounds good! I just downloaded and applied your 1500 gallon Radion xr30 schedule to my tank. My tank is mainly acorpora and zoas and love how much more blue your schedule is compared to the ab+ from ecotech.
@@shawnriv9 Hope you like it!!!
13:51 I can’t find this acro on the site? Any frags available?
Hello, Please email us at contact@worldwidecorals.com
What would be cool, is if you donate those older G4 light to broke budget reefers..( like me) 😂
Besides showing off a tank how about a tank rescue I’m down for that one
We are always looking for more things!
@@WorldWideCorals well in I’m Jacksonville,Fl I drive semi trucks and my tank is on death row help me please!!!
@@KeelOvisioN You're not tooooo far from us. We do make service calls if you are interested.
Casper was at 0:12 seconds in the video
What are those zoas at the 5:30 mark?
WWC Rising Sun Zoanthids
.47 sec I saw Casper
🐠🤘
Does this gem tang have a black tail?👀
Good Eye! Yes he does
That is awesome! I’ve never seen that
@@zachchristmas4682 I also found that to be an odd thing to see. They usually have yellow tails.
casper at 15 seconds
Casper does love to be seen that is for sure.
Radions are such a joke. All that money for no par. Never again will I fall for that scam.
But some of the most beautiful tanks ive ever seen use radions. Including the WWC tanks
ita not all about par, you dont need 700 par, 250-300 is perfect
@@mikedelape6609 And I couldn't even get that with two xr15s over a 3ft tank unless whites at 100%. Plus their app is pure trash.
What intensity are you running at?
@@WorldWideCorals I was running them at 100% all channels. Now I run at 0% because I sold them 🤣
