This is probably a stupid question but how do you cycle a tank this large. Ive never seen tangs as the first fish in a tank.
For the MFK (monster fish keepers) community, 2k Gal is basically a 180 gal to us lol...my fw system is 1500 Gal and I feel its too small for 3' fish 😅.....Regardless, congratulations!

What are the dimensions of each 2000g tank?
I have been waiting to see this. The tanks look great. All those yellow tangs. I have only been to the store once and loved the 1500. I can't wait for my next Florida vacation so I can see these. I do have a question though. I have had 2 tanks sitting together. What are you doing about the glass in between the tanks? Is there space to clean between them or will you let coraline grow on those sides because water and salt creep will get down there.
For the inside we have our dive team and we also have some tools to get the in-between cleaned up
What water did you use to fill these tanks? RO natural seawater?
This was filled with RO mixed with dry reef salt.

How are yall liking the Varios 10s compared to the equivalent GPH on Royal Exclusive and Abyzz?
Take out a window and we can make it happen 😆. We love the Varios 10s so far. Ton of flow even after all the head pressure is taken into consideration. We do not use Royal Exclusive or Abyzz pumps here, so we can't make that comparison unfortunately.

Looks great guys, not sure if it’s been answered but how come 2x2000gal instead of a single 4000gal?
Unfortunately, aquarium manufacturers do not have access to panels of glass large enough to have this built from single sheets of glass this thick. We would have used 1 larger tank if it were an option for sure. We could get an acrylic tank that large, but we hate acrylic 👎 lol

I kinda was hoping they left the top open with the light rack. Not a fan of boring drywall. That stand mfg did you no favors on access to your sump. That is rough I would have put them under the catwalk your going to build so at least you can stand up

I know who made the tanks Bob and Karen they are the best they made my 750 gallon and I absolutely love it Bob pays attention to detail and craftsmanship Bob knows his art I got Armored seams inside and on the outside Bob and Karen are a great team to work with there really care about each of they clients I highly recommend them A+ from start to finish 💯

I love when Vic said, "It's 2024 and we are still learning." I've been in the hobby for 20+ years and still find myself making new mistakes. I have success with my previous tank and believe the second one will be the same, but this phenomenon has led to issues for me and took 8 months to get my NO3 down from (300PPM to 50PPM). Every tank is different, even if your doing the same thing biology and science sometimes are unexplainable and need time to work it self out.
Each day we learn something new!
