Thank you for this brother! I initially was looking at the big adv bikes for a daily commuter that could also take the wife and I on dates. I decided that a middleweight was better financially. I was torn between a tiger 900 and the T7, but the T7 won. I was concerned with this very question, however. I am currently saving for a ‘24 model, I hope to have it in Jan. It’s nice to know that it can do it with the stock setup, as at some point I’d like to get the suspension sorted by pro, so it can be sprung correctly for my weight. Any tips as far as aftermarket accessories? I’m 5’ 11” (180 cm I think) I may want or need a taller windscreen?

Thanks :) yes this bike is definitely capable of touring two up with luggage. We are on a camping trip in Italy 🇮🇹 right now with similar setup and the Tenere is doing just fine ;) Cheers

You should have atleast ohlins suspension professionally set up before u even start to think about travelling on the tenere... some would like u to believe lol. Just goes to show how much value u should put in reviews. Thanks for showing us a real world review Alex.

Im.planning to do a similar trip ..2 up ! I weight around 70kg and she weight around 60kg.. plus we will have luggage .i was a bit concerned about the stock suspension... I was thinking to put the pre load all the way up.. (clockwise). Shall i give it a try ? I dont really wish to spend over 2k for suspension if i can go without any upgrades. Thabk you
I guess, if the normal Tenere isn't enough for some riders....... The Word Raid model, can give a little bit more of with that bigger tank, better suspensions, for travel use, rally or heavy journey! Am I right?
I guess so :) but I still think that the WR model is an overkill for the most riders. There are only a few riders who actually can use the full potential of the T7
May I ask how tall is you and your wife ? I’m between tracer 9 and tenere ! I rode tenere of one of my friends and I loved it but idk for 2 passengers travelling

No, pretty much the same because you’re usually slow when you travel (70-100km/h)

No need to spend anything just go on the stock suspension and you will be fine :)
