U2-The Unforgettable Fire Tour: Under Australian Skies-1984 I saw this tour in Australia and New Zealand: Perth, Sydney, Wellington, and Auckland! Great tour Great songs always concluded with 40!
u2 in their prime, magnificent! I am Brazilian and just started to listening to them in 1988. However, their songs , in a deep way, influenced my existence. Actually, they have continued influencing.
What I remember about the unforgettable fire tour in November 84 ,was I spent hours queuing up for tickets at edinburgh playhouse .I was absolutely gutted when I was about the 20th person from the ticket kiosk and the barrier went down saying SOLD OUT it wasn't a very pleasant evening on the way back home , I still haven't got over it tbh It wasn't until the vertigo tour I first saw them live in croke Park
U2 em sua melhor forma. Essa turnê foi incrível. Os músicos estavam em seu auge. Não me canso de ouvir essas canções. Todos os integrantes estavam estupendos
I often feel The Unforgettable Fire Tour was maybe the band's best. I don't know why though. I just feel they were still climbing a mountain of sorts; and yes, they were on fire ... .
@@StoriesForBoys Imo it was their most magical. As a U2 fan, you were part of what felt like a semi-private fraternity whose membership was on the verge of exploding by quadruple, but you didn't know exactly how or when, as I would bet the band itself felt about the overall confidence and potential about their music and audience. That said, I feel ZOO TV was their most brilliant live moment and possibly one of the most revolutionary concert tours in rock history to date.
It was their best because they had epic songs like Bad, Pride, UNforgettable FIre, and Sort of Homecoming. These are some of their best songs. Bono's voice was at its strongest then and they were not the arrogant limo liberals they turned into
Lol that's awesome. I recall similar. A tour program was like 6 bucks. Not to sound too "back in my day.." but you can't get a t-shirt for less than $35 nowadays. That is after paying $40 for parking (yes i get it's 35 yrs later, shush and let me complain like an old-timer lol :) )
If this was at Wembley arena ? I was there. Worked nights, travelled down as my shift finished at 6.a.m. Then spent the day In the centre of London then up to Wembley for gig. Great day
Estoy tan lejos de Lima PERU que la verdad el tema The Unforgettable Fire...Me deslumbra .como lo hiciste Bono..como lo hiciste The Edge ....como lo hiciste Larry Mullen ...como lo hiciste Adam Clayton... .
It is a great concert. However, a few songs were cut out of the recording. It would be great if someone could find the whole concert, including the 3 songs that were cut.

I swear, I never get tired of hearing live versions of Bad, and the ones from the UF tour were the best.
LostBoy, so agree.
wow. these old recordings, otherwise unavailable, are priceless
Super stuff! - first saw U2 in Croke Park 1985. Still uplifting after all these years!

They were Wide Awake in America earlier on this tour -- I saw the show at the Omni in Atlanta, Georgia 🎉😊 ❤

Amazing show! I saw them in Milan on that tour, one of the best ever I saw!
Beato te... Di quel concerto ho postato le versioni di Indian Summer Sky e Party Girl, nel caso fossi interessato

@@StoriesForBoys by the way, I was at Windimill Lane when they were recording Where The Streets Have No Name

maybe not their best, but it was surely a turning point

I agree w that 100 percent
It certainly was them at their most passionate
Saw them a couple weeks later on December 8th in Detroit. 5th row! Ticket price (with service fee) was $14.75.

They were unreachable!!!!!
The speed has never been fixed throughout the years. If I knew how to do it I’ll do it, and share it, because it’s an amazing show.

U2 played in london at brixton academy on 2nd/3rd Nov
at Wembley Arena on 14/15 too
Performed a week before the Dortmund tour (21/11/84)
Yeah, those concerts from Nov. 1984 were great. I also uploaded Edinburgh from 10 days prior, but even the two in Glasgow were excellent as well.
It is a great concert. However, a few songs were cut out of the recording. It would be great if someone could find the whole concert, including the 3 songs that were cut.

sort of homecomingが聴けてありがたい。
Wonderful sound, it is slightly sped up though--Bono and Edge sound a bit like The Chipmunks.
Good thing I like chipmunks ...
