Thunder has such a beautiful face. When I heard him hissing & growling I just belly laughed. Thunder is such a CHARACTER & has so much personality. I had to watch this twice. Made my day!!
I've never heard a cat make angry cat noises at a toy. Don't you wish there was a magic jar that could drop a dollar in and find out at any time what's REALLY going on their cat-brain(s)?
Oh that's hilarious! Exactly like my Cookie when she gets hold of this crazy white rat toy I gave them. All puffed up...hissing...growling...hissing more...snorts, and ready to attack if I tried to get it away from her. I rarely bring that white rat out anymore, she always scared the other cats and they just hid so it's in the cat drawer now. I always love watching your videos Doug and I especially enjoy hearing you laugh, giggle and snort when you play with your bunch....your laughter is contagious and you always brighten my day. ❤️🐾
That's prey! My cats have a garden to hunt in, and if they are proud of what they caught, they make these noises to say 'It is MINE!' OH my gosh he is precious! xD That behaviour is more about YOU and not the toy though, he wants you to head away so he can enjoy his dopamine rush in peace.

Awwwww, poor Thunder does not want anyone touching his toy. Dear sweet Thunder, it is your toy and you are doing an excellent job of not letting anyone get near it. Sending love. hugs, head and tummy rubs plus chin scratches to all the kitties, but please give Thunder an extra hug for me. It is a real joy receiving Kits Kats videos. They are so precious and adorable and they always give me a warm and fun feeling inside which is really special when I am having a bad pain day. I am back in physical therapy again and the other day I found a Canadian quarter. Hope everyone is having a good day and may the week be a great one for all. Boots (my kitty) wants to say meow meow meow to Cupcake. But I think Cupcake has already been spoken for by Monkey. 😸😸😸😸
Exact same sounds a cat makes when it gets ahold of a mouse or chipmunk and a human or another kitty gets too close to it. Got an outside kitty with the same disposition.. sweet as can be until it’s time to murder small rodentia!
When I got my new kitten back in August. I introduced him to a furry pom pom hair tie I had. I dropped it and mini monster came out. I have never seen a kitten growl and fight so fiercely for a toy. Watching Thunder reminded me on my kitten.
This just made my day. Thunder is gorgeous and aggressive with his prey. My cats also growl at me when I try and save mice and birds from their clutches 😂😁
Thunder is so serious, and yet so funny about those toys. In the linked video, he sounded like a bicycle pump as a kitten! A cat psychiatrist would probably tell you he's normal, but recommend against taking his toy...
it's his prey. you were getting too close. the puffed up tail/body and hiss/growl would have sent me far away. i suffered a very serious wound when innocently shooing one cat away from another who was in this same state. instinct rules. my doctor said, you know, cats are not really domesticated. ouch.😼

Thunder's new trick to entertain his human, by pretending angry and hissing with the toy. He knows that his human servant will enjoy, and give him more food as reward! Hahaha!
I think it makes him angry to feel that wand following him & dragging at his mouth. He probably figures it is trying to pull the toy away from him! Ain't gonna happen!! 😼

He thinks it's HIS prey/kill.He doesn't want his Dad to take it away from him that's why he runs away with it in his mouth.
