Kami has the look of a wed fed kitty. I have a tuxie that is over 21 lbs. I try to put him on a diet, but he refuses to eat any diet food. lol I just let him be fat. I can't yell at him because he's deaf, but I have fun doing it anyways. I talk to him like he's a hearing cat. My little one has become his official "hearing aid" cat. lol She only weighs in at about 5 lbs (looks like a 6 month kitty, but she's 8 yrs old). My house is NEVER boring with these 2.
Being a “heater cat” must be a tuxedo thing! Our tuxie Eragon tips the scales at 17 pounds, and putting him on a diet with two other cats is impossible because then he steals their food! We just restrict everybody to one scoop of food per day and hope they remain nourished-my job’s hours mean I don’t have time to stand over them and make sure everybody only eats at their assigned bowl.

Your Kami looks like my Putzi, although a lot of people might think "stupid her, all black cats look the same" no they do not, her face and eyes when she thinks ... and you can see she loves and trusts her daddy endlessly ... rescued cats never forget - big hello from Germany to Sharon and you ... :-)
You are correct in the description to say to keep your kitties safe. It angers me that there are humans that would gladly eviscerate this gentle purrbeast especially on halloween. But the odds are not even slim but quite substantial that if you let your cat out on Halloween, that's the last you'll see of him.
I have adopted a 13 week old kitten right now and I pretty much have zero experience with cats. What advice would give in order for my kitten to grow and stay healthy until it’s a big independent tiger :)
