How the education system in Russia works

Many people are interested how the education system in Russia works, so today I will tell you a few facts about it.
To begin with, I will describe a scheme to which every Russian child is a participant (although not all affect all stages):
- Preschool education (or kindergarten)
- Primary general education (grades 1-4 of school)
- Basic general education (grades 5-9 of school)
- Full general education (grades 10-11 of school)
- Secondary vocational education (can be obtained both after the 9th and after the 11th grade of school)
