If this game looks good to you then you might also want to try Unity-chan's Action Shooting. It's also like Mega Man. And you can play it on your phone.
Wow, this is a great looking game. I'll have to play this at some point. Edit: And you can see the humor when the developers made blatant mockery of Dr. Wiley with the final boss. "Yeah, we know we're copying Mega Man and Castlevania. And we don't care." 😂
Most of the PC games I've seen TASed here are running the native Linux version - was there any technical breakthrough to make Windows games compatible with the TAS framework?
This run was made using a really old windows TASing program called Hourglass that works for only a handful of games. Most PC games are TASed in libTAS, which only runs on Linux, but this game doesn't have a Linux port so I couldn't use it. It is possible to TAS windows games in libTAS by emulating old windows OSes with PCem, which I tried to do to TAS the sequel to this game, but PCem only emulates processors up to the Pentium II so it's only viable for much older games than this.
@@richardfitkin7155 Is there some technical reason why LibTAS can't be used with Wine/Proton and requires a native Linux port of the game to work for now?
@@csolisr I don't know anything about the technical side of things regarding libTAS, but it looks like they just haven't been developing it to work with wine/proton. All the libTAS FAQ says is "there’s experimental support for run games through Wine. Very few games were tested, and there are a bunch of issues."
Mega Man play style but Castlevania theme. This is the greatest thing I've seen this year

Is a game that is similar to this. So if you like MegaMan and Waifus then you should try it.
Nice waifus all around
