As a retired dental/surgical assistant, this episode has me laughing at his extraction adventures. It is the stuff we don't get to hear after we send the patient home. Funny stuff especially while on pain meds.
Dry socket is when food particles don’t get washed out daily after eating otherwise with holes in mouth it will collect food. They give you a plastic syringe( no needle) to fill with eater so you can flush the food out before your gums heal up. You wouldn’t want food in your healed gums. I’m thankful that I had them and thank you for helping me through these most difficult days. I lost my brother in 2013. My pets in the last 3 years. I jam with the music and comedy. 💜Jam on. 🎸🎸🎸🎸

I really like John's music and this show. And i like to hear him talk, I find him entertaining, kind of smart and funny in a non very conventional way. But this show I thnk its showing how much of an ego he still has. That comment about the updated version of himself was totally weird and narcisistic in my opinion. And there have a been lot of similar moments in all past episodes. Anyway, the show is good and Alec was amazing on this episode.
i think that's where a lot of his humor just naturally comes from. like part of me thinks he knows that people know he was/is overly full of himself so he plays it up some on these little shows... idk just throwing my two cents out there. i did notice it too though.
Hmm, I really don't agree. When he says Alec is a "software update" on him I have to agree. Alec is, currently, rising in fame. He has a lot of young girls in love with him and his music, just like JM 18 years ago. He's a clear version of JM back then, without all of the baggage and need for an ego. He's adorable. However, I saw JM's comment as more self effacing rather than self-aggrandising.
