Thank you! I like finding them and getting them back in running condition. If I had the proper set-up, I could do repair videos for the oldies but goodies.
@johnknippenberg-LandmarkYards I do have a few. I have one that I've been repainting that I put on the back burner right now due to so many other projects, mostly HO.
Wow. Never seen one before and they still run. Each consist a train set at that time or they were purchased individually as a collection? Thanks for sharing, John.
I find these piece by piece on eBay or Trainz. Most just need a little cleaning or a wire soldered here and there. Parts are available, I've had to pick up a few headlight housings and pantographs. There's a store at the York show, and they have just about every part for post and pre-war Lionel. You really need to inspect the wheels on these before purchasing. 😉
For being 100 years old, they’ve run great! 😮
Oldies but goodies! I wonder how the new/modern ones will hold up?
That’s what really scares me, I hope our newer trains can hold up as long. 🙏
It's great seeing these classic toy trains running on your layout John. Amazing video.

I love those old tinplate elecrics! So awesome! 👍💯
Thanks, John. Do you have any of these stashed away?
