It's a awesome thing to have good friends and even better neighbors to be able to help make a bad day better and I think you did a great job loading it up
Hey Mike & Wade & ALL Crew !! Good to see how you help each other out when the chips are down !!! Great job by ALL !!! No more damage to the side of the road with the way you handled your machine !! Have a good week & Thanks for the drone footage too !!
Glad you helped them out it's one of those days where it could happen to anybody just glad nobody he was really hurt bad except for a few cuts and his pride. Keep up the great videos
Nice job helping Wade pick up the logs. Glad Steve Billow is okay, the job went well, and your equipment functioned "perfectly" Now, if you can just train JasonWorksAlot to actually help you, learn to fly the drone, and get some sweet aerial shots, you'll have it made. Cool to see Logger Wade on the scene and happy. Poor guy has been through a lot with this accident, yet he still manages to have a positive attitude and laugh some. You two guys, make a great team! Enjoy your weekend Mike Doug@ the "ranch"
Good job guys, Stevie Billows is always in a hurry to get somewhere. 😂😂😂 Good job not mentioning the Yellow jacket nest Wade I wouldn't expect anything less 🤣🤣🤣 👍🤙🥃🍻
Glad Stevey is doing okay. And another great video!! It's always amazing seeing friends helping friends. Especially when they need you during a rough time.. Glad you was able to help them Mr Dirt Perfect!! But I will say I believe that guardrail is now Billowbuilt...haha
I would bet that those skid marks on the road are not the only ones Stevey has!!! LOL Mike your just living out your childhood dreams of playing with REAL Lincoln logs. LOL Glad no one was hurt.
I want to commend you on how very sincerely understanding you were to the guy that had the accident (sorry-don't remember his name). I just thought that was very refreshing to see. You come across as a very caring individual. I also am thankful no one was hurt.
When I was in the biz I was involved in only one rollover recovery. It was tree length pine saw logs in town. Driver tried to beat a red light and turning left rolled the truck taking out a major utility pole and a couple parked cars. Utilities had to be shut off so we could work. Carried a Tigercat loader and trailer in. It was at a major intersection with wires everywhere. It was almost a surgical procedure dodging cars wires and hazmat and utility company vehicles. Lots of cursing and some tears(when the lady saw what the logs did to her car). Big fuel spill as the passenger side tank split and leaked into the sewer system. What a mess. Driver was fired as soon as an eye witness told the boss what happened. I am with you when you said Steve may have been in a bit of a hurry. You guys did a great job on the cleanup. Hope Wade has some good insurance..............
Just subbed to you. Awsome show of support towards Wade. Sure wish we could get Stevie in a vidja. Sure know Stevie needs a bunch of support now from everyone. We need to get Stevie the tumped over plaque made outa one of his stacks.
Ain't no shame in driving a Bird. Operated a heavy wrecker Bird for many years with a 400 Cummins and a ole 9 speed. I wasn't interested in speed hauling wrecks. Good ole truck. Hated to see it leave and be replaced with that Red Peter Car.
So how close do you guys all live together? I've seen Jason spend time with Chris Guins, and I thought he was local to Chris in NC. It's really nice to see you all getting involved helping each other out. The last Logger Wade video I watch had him feeling low after dropping a tree onto someone's garage. The damage was not huge, but he said it was the first time anything like that had happened to him, and he took it badly. If bad things really do happen in threes like the saying goes, lets hope #3 is is tiny. Anyway... good on you all. you are good people.
Love the drone shots! Also added a adjustable manual thumb to my 160c and I definitely couldn't do that job.I need a hydraulic thumb.Keep up the good work,God bless!
I vacation down in Patoka and been driving semi 36 years and every time im down their i think of the hills and curves you guys down there and can see a hammerhead not staying on the road to long ! Just subed really get a kick out of you Wade , i live up in the northern part of Indiana "the flat part"
Captain Kleeman was told you were suppose to be there too. I’m sure you can imagine my disappointment when you no showed... I though we were friends. 😢
Captain Kleeman funny cause it went JWA: hey where is captain kleeman at? I bet he’d have a good time with all of us too! DP: he said he would rather haul dirt than hang out with us. JWA: ah that’s a bummer well you know we all gotta work I guess. Do you want to see what he’s doing when he’s done? DP: I’m not so sure JWA: huh? Why not? DP: LISTEN HERE IM THE MAYOR AND I SAID HES BUSY... DO YOU KNOW HOW MABY SUBSCRIBERS I HAVE?! Sheesh. JWA (to self): man do you believe this guy...
Thank God Stevey is ok. You just know at least one of those people driving by. Said that's a terrible place to log. You'd think they would have stacked those logs somewhere else to load. God bless
NOW, you're in my field of expertise, Mike. If I saw the scene and had a few measurements, the vertical center of mass height of the load(s), overall weight, curve radius, roadway grade, super-elevation, drag factor, I could tell you EXACTLY what happened. What's surprising, excessive speed might not have caused this, albeit, a contributing factor once Newton's three laws of motion were tested. (As an aside, how does a train negotiate a curve when the axles and wheels are one piece, thus no slippage. {Dwell on it and I'll answer it if you're curious}). Nevada State Highway 447, from Gerlach to the Calif state line is enforced by the Washoe Co. Sheriff's Office, not Nevada Highway Patrol. There are two particular sections of that road - the worst being Mile Marker 103 - where the highway makes 'men out of boys' with regard to big rigs. Constant radius but the super-elevation rolls off on the outside of the curve "Just the right amount" to start a loaded big rig onto it's side. Since I was the only guy on MAIT with articulated vehicle reconstruction training (WHY did I volunteer to attend that school?!?!?!), I got called out on all those wrecks. You KNOW what happens when you turn the tractor with a loaded trailer behind you, the load wants to continue straight. Couple that with a change in 'super,' and that starts the load over, the trailer and tractor follow the load, and the driver is now a passenger. Fortunately the driver didn't get serious injuries - everything else can be fixed. Carl, Washoe Co. Sheriff's Office, Major Accident Investigation Team, retired.
I'm glad stevey alright but he gets himself into a ton of trouble....work -wise... Lol... If you ain't messing up something you ain't working... Keep pushing stevey
Good thing the drivers safe.. them log trucks can have a terrible center of gravity with the density of the logs being different. Perfect clean up......Log perfect.....I had to say it.
@@toddreynolds8875 I've never had the pleasure of hauling or operating any of those. I've hauled Corn, fuel, and Caterpillar equipment and that's about it.
That’s call to fast for conditions no matter the weather, I have been investigating traffic crashes for over 22 years. Some people don’t k is that a vehicle can only do one thing safe at a time, speed up, break or turn, do two at one time and loose control.
I worked a nasty wreck a few years ago 2 Dump Trucks in Western NC Mountains. I was taking part in a Class over there and helping instruct and they got the call, so being there it sounded like they would need help, they had 2 Tricycle's hauling Asphalt down a Mtn Rd and the one in back over heated the brakes and pushed the first 1 off the bank with him. Had 2 Dump Trucks on their top 1 fully involved, 1 Driver didn't make it out. Fellas stay safe and use your head, we can replace every Truck on the road just not you drivers!
