most underrated part of this bit IMHO is how unnecessary the system is, dennis is a reasonably attractive man who could easily have a casual relationship with any of these women but he still insists on ruining their lives so he can be in control

I love how years later the system keeps failing and Dennis so bewildered on why it doesn’t work. Then in season 14 Mac starts using it on Dennis.
I don’t remember that. When does Mac use it on Dennis? Like it’s a callback joke that he does or it’s something subtle for the audience to pick up on?

6 months late but if they had opened their channel a decade ago and constantly uploaded some great clips they would be sitting at a mill subs and most of these videos would be a lot more popular. Which in turn would have helped the show even more. Better late than never but still.

It's also what many abusers do in other circumstances. Parents, boyfriend's (some girlfriends because the societal power dynamic is unusual), and even professional relationships. It's call trauma bonding in it's most basic overlap.
I like how the DENNIS system is a detailed process that will takes days to do. Meanwhile the SINNED system is designed to start and finish by the first date. Dennis is getting more efficient.
Dennis is almost like a combination of Ghostface from Scream and Patrick Bateman from American Psycho by using a telephone with a voice box to scare women, as well as being incredibly conscious about his appearance, hyper sexual, and loving 80's music.
In November of 2009, Dennis released the D.E.N.N.I.S system. A system so proven that people fail to see the dark side. But they should! Hey Paul!
Dee’s reaction is the best part of this scene as her anger escalates with each letter

I was always a little confused as to why Dennis is explaining a system that everyone already seems to be aware of and are even a part of. Well, I guess Charlie and Dee aren't.
