Congratulations! You have one of the best automotive cameramans I have ever seen. Those focal length pulling shots are amazing and very creative. I have two questions relating the car: 1. For a racing engine, it is designed to run at high revs and high oil pressure&temperature, but on the road you rarely can reach the normal working window of this engine. How do they solve this problem? Same goes to the gearbox. 2. Can the mirrors withstand the high speed/pressure? I assume the mirrors have to hold more pressure because of the huge downforce the car produces.

God. Too much to ask? Clearly this not a page for driving enthusiasts. The metaphor I would use to describe my experience of the overall content here is that it was very much akin to spending £150 on the worlds best steak, meeting the chef, spending 10 minutes talking to him about all the fine details, the nuances of the perfectly cooked succulent flavour and just getting a small hint of the aroma right before quickly dousing it in a litre of asda smart price BBQ sauce and passing it to a dog. Terrible. Love the car, love the colour, no clue what the dashboard really looks like or what it sounds like though.
itsnot1984anymore thanks for the detailed feedback. You’re right with the time, we had a total of about 1 ½ hours with the car. However, we were allowed to take the car around the block in terms of driving, a total of about 4 minutes. Not sure how much filming you’ve been involved with, but even with a very organised crew, it sadly doesn’t lend itself to allow a huge amount of content within this time. The review was explaining the technical changes to the car. And your steak metaphor is lost on us. Asda BBQ sauce is ok with us. Maybe work on some better metaphors and we’ll try and do the same with our “terrible” videos 🙂👍
By your logic, they could simply get another one created since the shop that did the immediate work would be able to replicate. Not to mention, I'm sure the owners insurance would fully cover the replacement.
Carbon Fiber cars survive collisions better. Just don't let Hammond crash, roll and burn it, and you should be able to rebuild. Wasn't the most expensive Mclaren F1 because it got wrecked twice or something? Mr. Bean and Elon Musk.
'because their no longer made', buddy,, thats a marketing ploy used to drive rarity and market prices up, maclaren or whoever could make as many cars of a rare model that they want to, replicate ANY part from any model theyve ever made. this is why bitcoin and other crypto's are demanding high exchange prices. there's no real reason :D
Not exactly, Bugatti Veyrons for example cost over 5 mil a piece to make and all were sold for less than that. Costs wouldn't necessarily go down with volume either with the time it takes to make each part, the man hours in the paint and other perfections. That's with VAG's connections to suppliers and ability to cut costs. It is a shame though there aren't more Classic cars that are reproduced. I can only think of American cars like Mustangs, Camaros, Cobras and such. I guess Minis, MGB GT's too. Are there any Japanese repros? There should be. I think the 240 or 280Z had a factory restoration program. Someone smart with money should get on reproduction Nissan parts, engines, quality body parts for 240, Silvia, 300ZX, and Skylines R32-R34 (before they hit the American market full force,) and other unique RWD and AWD Japanese cars.

An informative discussion of one of the most extreme cars on public roads. I’m subscribed.
Thank you John. Much appreciated
All that effort and it takes one drunk driver to ruin it all (by crashing into it)
RandomUser M Its 1 of 1 you can get a McLaren replaced this is a different story
10:22 evolution of the aston right there.
8bit_taco well spotted! It was a complete fluke that it turned up

Every Vulcan owner needs this transformation.
We need this customization on the next Need for Speed!! ;D
Out of this world. 👍🇦🇺
Bondie thank you very much 🇦🇺🇦🇺👍
That's so much better looking than the normal Vulcan that looks beautiful with lights
Now imagine this V12 beast added with a hybrid system, more crazy aerodynamic and Formula 1 like seats ...
And there you have it: the Valkyrie!
Hybrid system...😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣
looks better than the original
You guys beat Aston to the punch! I think a road legal Vulcan is in the works at some point, and this one looks almost perfect.
Andrew Greenewald Seems like a bit of a waste not to make them road legal, considering 99% will be stashed away in a collection and never even experienced
Isn’t the car @ 10:23 something, of importance
Yes! But it was a complete fluke!
DB-5!!!!!!!!
@ 10:22 is that a damn nice DB5?
L. Well spotted! It was pure luck
That rear indicator light job is so cool.
fun fact: I sat in this exact car before it got customized :)
