Was better that the other episodes but if you want a "great" video watch a very small independent film called "There are more of us" it's about a group of super friends who try to say a show is for everyone but only if you agree with them .
Yes there are plot holes like how 14% is a bigger number than 86% and why are these people trying to gatekeep and ignore genuine complaints.
It is hard to find due to the fact that 2 out of the 11 are actually really bad people who have/had doing some questionable things are the people who made it are trying to pretend it didn't happen.

I just realized but I think Sol knows it's Mae because when Sol asks "Osha" "where is she?" "Osha" says "who?" and Sol responds with "your sister". Even though she's pretending to be Osha, and Sol visually sees her as Osha, they've made it a point this whole show that when someone asks Sol which sister he is referring to, he always mentions them directly by name.

I still can’t believe they brought the Cortosis armor from the books and comics into live action. It’s a material that nullifies blaster shots and temporarily disables lightsabers. In canon it was seen in the novel Thrawn: Alliances and in the Doctor Aphra comics.
It’s incredibly rare and even harder to refine into armor, and while it’s relatively weak against strong impacts, it can nullify blaster bolts and deactivate lightsabers temporarily upon impact.

The first one i heard sounded a lot like a part of the "Battle of Heroes" song when Jecki pulled out the 2nd saber when she was fighting Qimir!

I am so glad that there are fans of this show. I can't say that I'm one of them so far. I keep trying to like it but, for whatever reason, I can't find any emotional anchor to any of the characters and much of it feels flat to me. But that's how any media franchise goes. Some things resonate and some things don't. The important thing, I think, is that there are fans that will love this and find their initial "romance" for Star Wars here.
And there are things I legitimately like in this show. I like exploring Force traditions outside of the Jedi and the Sith. They existed heavily in the EU (Legends) canon. Both the Light, and the Dark, had many different interpretations and followers. Even within the Jedi Order there were conflicting opinions on the nature of the Force and teachings that fell out of favor or were outright barred. Very cool to show, if only briefly, one of those traditions.
Very cool to introduce Cortosis in a functional way to the universe. That's an old Legends bit and, when used sparingly, makes for a neat inclusion.
I don't see any "lore" breaks so far. And I'm an "old head" when it comes to Star Wars. I've nerded very hard on it through the EU novels and releases. I've seen them adjust racial traits such as lifespan and biology back and forth as it suits the story. None of these things bother me. And I think there's enough of a distinction in Force-wielding Witches manipulating the Force through some means to create twins and the Force itself (implied) manifesting Anakin into being that there's no real conflict.
This, of course, requires you to just assume that the Jedi Prophecy wasn't only real and factual but also interpreted correctly by the Jedi. I don't think we can just assume any of that to begin with.
This show isn't connecting much with me. But I hope it connects with others and love to watch people enjoy it. We've still got three episodes. And, who knows, they might hook me at the end. I'm just glad they're exploring more of the universe and presenting different stories to wider audiences.
    (Sorry for the giant comment.)

Why did Mae resist arrest from Jackie if she wants to surrender herself to the Jedi in the previous episode? 🤔
    Besides, where was Sol when:

-Darth Ezra Miller slaughtered the other Jedi?
Also, why didn't Darth EM just use his force push against the horde of giant moths attacking him? Weird, since he used it earlier against a group of Jedi.

Sol doesn't need to speak Bazil's language. He can see into Bazil's mind. However, I don't think Bazil knows this.
So my guess is that Sol pretty much instantly knew it was Mae, but he's trying to turn/save her by playing along and getting her to the ship. As long as he can get her away from Qimir, he can safely deal with Mae (he fought her before, so he knows she's not a serious threat by herself).
To gain Mae's trust, Sol will tell her the story he was intending to tell both Osha and Mae together. So, we'll see part of a flashback.
But Bazil will interrupt at an unfortunate time, before we get the whole story. Assuming Bazil doesn't know Sol can read minds well, he'll try something like screaming out a warning or something.
    I dunno, just guessing here.

    • @IsaacKuo
      @IsaacKuo 3 месяца назад +1

@@MsJoniGibson I just realized a wrinkle, though ... Okay, Sol isn't going back to the ship to get to safety. He's going back to the ship to call for backup. Remember his conversation with Venestra during the mission briefing. The mission isn't about saving Kelnacca or capturing Mae - it's about getting a lead on Mae's master. WHO IS ON KHOFAR.
But Sol is the only Jedi left, so he needs backup.
Now, it's going to take some amount of time for Venestra and co to arrive. So, in the meantime, he might start telling a story to Mae. But maybe he needs to keep his attention on spotting any spacecraft leaving Khofar or something.

L: "Why didn't he kill Yord, I mean plot armour obviously....."
I'm totally NOT ok with Jecki and Yord being killed off 😢😢 I adored Jecki's character, she was SOOO COOL!!! And I respected Yord. He was quite "stiff" with rules and such, but he respected his masters orders and he did not hesitate a second to "save" Osha when she was accused of Master Torbins death.

I like your fan theory on the history of Ren. Personally, I was just happy that the "Sith" Master turned out to be Qimir....because I really didn't want to learn a brand new character with only three more episodes left. While they ARE killing off Jedi here, like an episode of "The Last of Us," I think a major player like Qimir deserves more character development than just a couple of episodes.

This episode is the best episode so far. The fight choreo was insane, it really brought us back to prequel style combat and showing the different styles of combat from Sol and Jecki's tag team to Qimir using his armor to short the sabers, even Sol using hands for his fights, were all done extremely well. Sol and Qimir's acting are top tier, you can see and hear the changes Qimir's actor does for all of his scenes, and after Jecki and Yord you can see Sol start giving into his pain, Imo Sol is best actor in this series, chills. Now that we know the face of the darksider, we can focus on whatever happened on Brendok, what will happen with Mae and Osha, and Qimir's backstory, hopefully. Now to wait for next weeks episode. May the Force be with you, Always. 💯🔥💚💚✌️

Cortosis is Not the OP game breaker people think it is. Even in Legends it has a number of limitations.
    1. It is extremely rare.
    2. It is brittle and not suitable for use in hard armor or weapons. It is most commonly incorporated as a "weave"
    3. It is a Limited use item, As every time it is struck by a lightsaber it is actually being cut partially. It is consumed by use.
Smilo Ren's helmet is not Plate, it is a Gimp Mask, That is why pomnel strikes and elbows work
All that said, it is in fact, also NOT force repellent. It does not have any magneto helmet anti Telepath powers. That is probably just a misdirect and a red herring. Sowing doubt and misinformation.
Even if you did something silly like giving it a padded lining made of Yslmiri skin, ( Which also would not work because they have to be alive) That would cut off your ability to use the force which this clearly doesn't..
The concealed lightsaber in the stacked can configuration is not a problem. No one should be trying to say that one blade shoots through the other handle. When connected the circuitry just routes everything to the single emitter.
The bigger Problem is their complete inability to understand the passage of time and continuity. The murder and confrontation happened at sunset.... The episode is labeled "night", But it runs all the way through the entire engagement until the following dawn. Now.
You may say multiple suns, or multiple moons.... But they didn't and this is just executed.... poorly.
They are clearly trying to hedge their bets and avoid committing to Qmir being a Sith. Whether he is or not and whether he is the Master or the Apprentice or not doesn't matter. Calling your pupil an "Acolyte" Only matters under the Rule of 2 from a Certain point of View.... It is the hypocrisy of technically abiding by a rule you are blatantly breaking. Also, As we see with Maul and Savage, if you are NOT a "current" Ro2 Sith and claim the title Master or Apprentice, That is a fast track to getting the actual Sith's attention.
Osha used the magnetic coupler on Pip's head to connect to the metallic "X" symbol on the back of Qmir's robes. I don't have a problem with it and it is just the plot convenience of giving him something else to deal with.
Coercing the jedi into striking in anger is a recurring theme, and the most common way to get them to slip into the dark side. Now that Mae has betrayed him, I can believe
Qmir is on the lookout for any new candidate. Top of his new list to try out are both Osha and Sol.

Killing Jecki was sad. Lots of potential as a character. Flying bugs chase was lame. The Parent Trap switch of the twins... I mean really. As Deadpool said in regards to a plot point, 'That's just lazy writing.' They have shown that red crystal dust a few times. Maybe it can heal triple light saber stabs? Disappointed in this episode.

Also quimir mos definetely is a sith that whole speech was part of his sthik/his mind games, the question is is he a bane line sith - i think not, so he might run afoul of the current bane duo. I also hope they dont drag out the mae deception bc there are so many ways how sol could tell its mae.
