    Defence is 50% of Boxing;
    People practice less than 25% of the time;
    Then wonder why they get hit Twice as much.
    Boxing defence via drilling, information is greatly neglected in place of TOUGHNESS.
    Great. Please continue this defensive series!!!

    Great video. Lots of great tips. Im really new and one issue in having is when blocking hooks to the body...my elbows keep digging into my sides and sometimes it so painful id almost rather eat the punch. But watching this video I can kind of see what I am doing wrong. Cant be pressing my elbows up to my sides and let them hover more forward. Thank you guys!

    How to protect the solar plexus. I understood how to protect the liver using the elbows but how to protect the solar plexus, there are no muscles to contract even so how to protect it without opening the face which could leave me uncovered for an actual knockout.

    Very good video! thanks. As a beginner, it is hard for me to block body shots during sparring, I'm quiet good at skipping or blocking head punches but still hard for me to predict bodyshots, any advice?

      Thank you for your question! Typically where are your eyes on your opponent when you are sparring? Specifically are you looking at their arms? Try to focus more around the chest area so you can try and see the body shots coming a little better.
