LSU and USC are mirror images of each other with one exception - LSU has recruited better than USC over the last couple of years across the board and that will be the difference in a close game.
Forget the odds & oddsmakers, & use your common sense. We’re going to be better on both lines of scrimmage. JD made Denbrock look better than what he actually is. Joe Sloan has been the QB coach since BK arrived. He’s familiar with the offense, players & university. LSU has the overall advantage in this game. You’ll find out soon enough on Sunday. GEAUX TIGERS!
LSU needs this game! Way more than USC. Losing game one would leave Brian Kelly 0-3 in season openers. It would put pressure on LSU players because they lost to a USC team that they should dominate at the line of scrimmage some would say. USC is young on offense at the skill position and will grow as the season progresses. A lot of hypotheticals here but one is losing to LSU catch Michigan early upset there and the only other loss be to an undefeated Notre Dame. 10-2 and undefeated in B1G games. No playoffs?
They are not mirror images. That narrative needs to stop. They have similar circumstances, but tier programs, trajectories, coaching abd characters (players and coaches) amf institutions are not . There are coincidental events that are similar, but they are certainly not the same which is why many see USC winning.
LSU’S offensive line will dominate in the trenches. LSU’S defensive line will get their share of pressures & plays in the game. You’re picking USC to win?😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@popeyesailorman911 This isn’t last year’s coaching staff. Last season, Matt House had the DBS playing 10-15 yards off of the line of scrimmage. Do you really think that it’s possible to be successful playing defense like that? Blake Baker will be much more aggressive, playing man coverage & using different looks & packages with multiple players in pass rushing situations. We still have Harold Perkins. If you don’t know who is, go back & look at the highlights from the Arkansas game in 22. 4 sacks, 2FF. He literally won that game by himself. Matt House didn’t know to use him, but I can promise you that Blake Baker does know how to use him. Good Luck. GEAUX TIGERS!
You nailed it. USC came through.
Another nice call.
Sometimes it happens.
Calling my shot. TROJANS BRINGING THE WOODEN HORSE

Also Riley a better offensive mind than BK.

Well 10-3 after a loss to Ohio State in the conference championship.
Or let’s say that’s the only loss until Ohio State. 11-2
USC needs to Win this game Not just for the playoffs but for the future of the program in Recruiting. Cuz Lincoln Riley SUCKS at Recruiting.

Tough home game against Idaho. College football is a crapshoot, that’s why predictions are always tough especially before the season begins
