Ok, to be fair, the background, sprites, charting and even the drawing mechanic were basically finished, and the song was pretty close to the finished version, but god damn seeing how it looked for the first time made me laugh.

some, if not all changes from the leaked build to the final version had a reason mr virtual's canon design (named Albert) was changed mid 2022 iirc, hence the sprite change unbeatable was made by what marco antonio himself said in an interview by "a disgusting person" (nova64) which got kicked out from the team due to homophobia and xenophobia
The fact Thalassophobia appears in this early build suggests that Drowned was scrapped and replaced very very early on, which really says alot about the song now

Nah, the mod's gameplay needs to be improved and some things in the coding went wrong. Even so, Mario's Madness V2 is the second best mod that I played and recorded for my channel.

Something about these old Mr. Virtual sprites just feel so much better for Paranoia, especially for its charting. But I think the GF disguise is better in the one we got.
I mainly prefer this versions Pikafriend's sprites over the new ones, they just make it look more alive and animated as opposed to just subtle head and face movements (if you live under a rock and don't know what Pikafriend is, it's basically BF during Mario sing and game rhythm 9)
I can understand why they removed the platform that moves at that level, but one thing I agree on is that I like Pikafriend here better than the current one.

@@Robin503can't speak for everyone but for me - new alone, being the longest song that isn't all-stars or unbeatable, has a lot to enjoy about it, and whilst it may drag on for some, the sad and melancholic tone always has me hooked, along with fantastic luigi and BF vocals (the ghost effect does wonders for BF's voice). the instrumental has enough variation for me to not consider it boring, and highlights include when mario shows up as well as the very beginning and end with luigi all alone - nova's alone certainly understands tone. the vibe of the instrumental combined with luigi's vocals is probably the best aspect of the song...but, for me, the *only* good aspect of the song. it's just not interesting at all for me. besides the very beginning, which has a really captivating hook for a song, nothing i hear interests me. it's forgettable imo, unlike the final alone. luigi's vocals also sound kinda bad in a couple parts, whereas new alone nails his vocals all throughout

Things were not in the final V2 or changed/removed: There was early icons in the leaked build that were changed in the Final V2 Some mechanics were not yet and added when the build was leak then they just added it some songs were changed, beacuse yes The overworld wasnt completed The "Main Game" is not changed and uses the same exact songs from the V1 1:06:36 BF in the Final V2 jumps and GF gets him but in this case they just random notes (which is based by events) then the GF vocals gets in whitout bf jumping The "V2 Patch Notes" at the Main menu was removed in the final V2, idk why they want it here for The options wasnt changed such as: * The overlay (From Pysch Engine) * They use Pysch Engine 0.4.2 * There wasnt any music change to it (i mean the final V2 uses a different music, the leaked is not) The GF in all stars (1:07:43) was different as i think due to their sprites The song Abandoned (VS Classified Luigi) - 1:26:46 was different and someone maked a public flp to it that you can search it for All stars in the leaked version was only 6 minutes long while in the final V2 it is 8 minutes All stars in the leaked version there is a countdown (Three, two, one & go) which at the final V2 they were removed it *Please pin this, we want at least everyone know about it lmao*

Honestly if it would have been this build i would have not liked it as much as the final version of the mod for many reasons,the first being that the new cutscenes are way better,giving a better layout for each songs,like the fact that "Golden Land" now is quite at the end of the mod for example.The songs are far better than this old build's,even tho some of them gave a solid base for some of the newer songs,the voice acting is better and it's a little bit better visually,overall,when i think of this older build,i think of a mod with a lot of ideas quite put randomly to make a complex but pretty confusing build,which quite represents how the mod was quite in a rough state for a while.
While most of the mod is substantially improved from this build, there is one gripe I have. Why’d they remove pixel GF in Nourishing Blood? In the final build, Kung Fu Mari and Mario 14 are there, but GF isn’t, along with what I think might be either Super Bros. 9 Mario behind her. Just a little confusing. My only thought is that, since pretty much everyone in that section was redone, they didn’t finish GF and the other bootleg hack character’s sprites in time.
Yes, it is possible that it is lack of time. The current build itself has several bugs regarding things that are missing or that certain events do not work well for all of them.
The fact that most of Overdue is fully done scares me (The sprites for Mr. L, Pico, Mario/The Forgiven One, and even the song I think), just the Body Horror section being different a bit in the bg Edit: So No Hope is basically the same apart from BF’s icon and the arrows, that’s scary

All Stars:This version has a bit of vocals and Instrumental Mixing it includes the Dialog of Act 3. And Omega doesn't have a scream sound yet. Dark Forest:has a different Instrumental and tiny bit of Vocals Mixing. I am surprised most of the soon to be bangers songs were made by nova64, the leaker of the build.. Which begs the question.. What if he never leaked the mod? We probably would have had a half baked version of MM where some songs are good and some were okay.. Or regardless of if he leaked the build or not, they would have been replaced..?
Since Nova64 left the team and after the drama that arose regarding the transphobic accusations, the songs were also going to be remastered. However, if Nova64 had not gotten into trouble with leaking the mod and his account, both Twitter and RUclips, which disappeared after the leak of the mod, would still be valid.

Marco Antonio himself and other devs publicly cited this fact once Nova64 leaked the mod and exposed them by saying that everyone turned their backs on him because of what happened. To this they would add evidence about Nova64.

Things were not in the final V2 or changed/removed:
There was early icons in the leaked build that were changed in the Final V2
Some mechanics were not yet and added when the build was leak then they just added it
some songs were changed, beacuse yes
The overworld wasnt completed
The "Main Game" is not changed and uses the same exact songs from the V1
1:06:36 BF in the Final V2 jumps and GF gets him but in this case they just random notes (which is based by events) then the GF vocals gets in whitout bf jumping
The "V2 Patch Notes" at the Main menu was removed in the final V2, idk why they want it here for
The options wasnt changed such as:
* The overlay (From Pysch Engine)
* They use Pysch Engine 0.4.2
* There wasnt any music change to it (i mean the final V2 uses a different music, the leaked is not)
The GF in all stars (1:07:43) was different as i think due to their sprites
The song Abandoned (VS Classified Luigi) - 1:26:46 was different and someone maked a public flp to it that you can search it for
All stars in the leaked version was only 6 minutes long while in the final V2 it is 8 minutes
All stars in the leaked version there is a countdown (Three, two, one & go) which at the final V2 they were removed it

Wait, so from what the title says, this build is from [27.4.23] April 27, 2023? I thought it was from April 1, 2023 or earlier than that because it says that the application for the build (Marioexe.exe) says that is was modified on April 1, 2023.
The assets folder is from April 27.

Honestly if it would have been this build i would have not liked it as much as the final version of the mod for many reasons,the first being that the new cutscenes are way better,giving a better layout for each songs,like the fact that "Golden Land" now is quite at the end of the mod for example.The songs are far better than this old build's,even tho some of them gave a solid base for some of the newer songs,the voice acting is better and it's a little bit better visually,overall,when i think of this older build,i think of a mod with a lot of ideas quite put randomly to make a complex but pretty confusing build,which quite represents how the mod was quite in a rough state for a while.

While most of the mod is substantially improved from this build, there is one gripe I have. Why’d they remove pixel GF in Nourishing Blood? In the final build, Kung Fu Mari and Mario 14 are there, but GF isn’t, along with what I think might be either Super Bros. 9 Mario behind her. Just a little confusing.
My only thought is that, since pretty much everyone in that section was redone, they didn’t finish GF and the other bootleg hack character’s sprites in time.
Yes, it is possible that it is lack of time. The current build itself has several bugs regarding things that are missing or that certain events do not work well for all of them.
If your only complaint is that a sprite was removed I think the mod did pretty well

bro idk why but some of the songs like paranoia and overdue sound like way better in this video, i know they're the same songs but it must have something to do with the audio quality.
They changed some touches in the mix, especially in the instrumental.
Fun fact: the paranoia fron the leaked build was used in the teasers for the songs.

Some differences with the old versions of the V2 Versions and the other songs in this build: The End:this version has no screaming at the Beginning and the random static like noises during the Beginning half are not heard at all Abandoned:This version was Composed by Wahbox himself which he later got help from Fredfrick due to how unhappy Wahbox was with the version he composed on his own. Paranoia:a bit of the vocal and Instrumental mixing are a bit different. So Cool:the Instrumental mixing is a bit different Oh God No:IHY Luigi voice is a little different since here he was voiced by Nanno plus the Instrumental is Different and has no Hidden Voicelines from Mario and Luigi Dictator:only the Instrumental is just different. All Stars:This version has a bit of vocals and Instrumental Mixing it includes the Dialog of Act 3. And Omega doesn't have a scream sound yet. Dark Forest:has a different Instrumental and tiny bit of Vocals Mixing. Golden Land Old Fredfrick Mix:This version has a bit of Different Mixing such as a tiny bit of the Vocals Instrumental and GBS Laugh sound. No Party:the Instrumental mixing is alot Different that's all Demise:only the Instrumental Vocals and GF Voice are Different here Powerdown Old V2:Only the False hero part was Composed By Nova. I am surprised most of the soon to be bangers songs were made by nova64, the leaker of the build.. Which begs the question.. What if he never leaked the mod? We probably would have had a half baked version of MM where some songs are good and some were okay.. Or regardless of if he leaked the build or not, they would have been replaced..?
Since Nova64 left the team and after the drama that arose regarding the transphobic accusations, the songs were also going to be remastered. However, if Nova64 had not gotten into trouble with leaking the mod and his account, both Twitter and RUclips, which disappeared after the leak of the mod, would still be valid.

@@MationsDam Nova64's homophobia citations were exposed in the development of the mod, so yes or yes they were going to change their songs in the mod. Marco Antonio himself and other devs publicly cited this fact once Nova64 leaked the mod and exposed them by saying that everyone turned their backs on him because of what happened. To this they would add evidence about Nova64.
