I would think many people in the US would love to get ahold of a water heater that is wood fired as it has so many possible uses. This HW heater could also be used as a small water boiler for say a hydronic heating system with the use of small water pumps. If I could find one of these water heaters in the US today I would use it in this way myself as I have a very basic hydronic heating system that used to use an outside wood boiler but I quit using it as it was way to much work to keep going, IMHO. This water heater here would require less wood and since I have a class A chimney I could use in my shop and pump the HW to where I need to heat my home. Of course my idea/plan is possibly illegal it could be done easily if certain criteria were met, or you just the whole thing quiet/hidden! On a side note if this manufacturer installed a heat trap in his ''hot'' or ''out'' pipe he wouldn't have the issue of hot water traveling all the way up the pipe and into the dwelling here. BAsic plumbing 101..
