    Weird Science was a rush job because his head and hands were hard at work writing and producing Pretty in Pink, along with writing and getting ready to direct Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Then, immediately following, were 87’s “She’s Having A Baby”, and 88’s “Planes, Trains and Automobiles”. Sheesh. Wonder if even had time to exhale…

    • @RodCornholio

      Hollywood would be stupid if they tried. That guy had a magical resonance with the culture of the time and a knack for telling a relatable _American_ * story that teetered on fantasy and reality. And he had a gift for comedy.
      No one has come close to replacing John Hughes. They could try to use his movie titles and basic story concepts (e.g. Breakfast Club, a story of teens in Saturday high school detention) but it isn't possible to replicate the results of what he did. He was a genius.
      * If I had to tell a foreigner how to get a feel for American culture, I would recommend certain John Hughes films, especially _Christmas Vacation_ .

So im there and hunky actor kind of wanted me to notice him and i felt it was more satisfactory to give Elderly Jessica Rabbit all my attention because she really deserved that I Loved her. So Kelly and i agreed it was the correct choice to make.
    Another time Ilan Mitchell Smith and the sidekick of Robert Downey JR were there plus Kelly. I adore Ilan and knew hes a Professor of Medievil History at UCLA. I love medievil fashion to thats what we yacked about. I really Loved that job ❤️❤️👸👸💃💃🌼🌼🎁💞

      @mikes2622 2 месяца назад

      @Fiveash-Art yeah Uma was hot in that one and another called The Truth About Cats and Dogs. Then her looks kinda changed. She's badass in Kill Bill but idk if "smoken hot" is how I'd describe her.
      Same with Hall. His first few movies he's the nerd, then in one he's the stud, now you can't even recognize him. Which I guess is kinda common for young actors. They get hired for a certain look then they grow up and look totally different.
