The boys are back in town getting it done!! PERFECT is the word I believe I would use! Hard work and long days yet you all keep it together and still have fun doing it! I appreciate the videos and all the hard work! I hope we will get to see more of boss Toby now!! Surprised us again with the two-cap tap at the end! Sending Blessings to everyone at Larsons Farm.
Chet don't feel bad I live in southern Indiana and we haven't gotten much more rain than you all have in the last month, hang in there some will show sooner or later
I did a little study and found the neighbors exact emerge had a spacing standard deviation of about 5/8”. My precision meters were over 3/4”. Less than a inch should not be negative to yield.
Hope you get the rain you need soon. This past winter here in central California we had way to much, way to fast. Still have blocks that are to wet to plant
Chet Dougo Broodie Eric great explanations you do need water got to see how you guys do this thank you for sharing and your time was really great never miss a video and can't wait for next video.
Watching the Browns channel too and seeing that moisture or rather a lack of it is a serious issue at this time, but we're having the same problems on the east coast of England, crops are starting to struggle.
Hoping by now you all have got some rain, only positive is that it definitely keeps the weeds down!! The rocks seem to grow better without the rain though...
It hasn't rained since Memorial day. Central MN they are calling a total crop loss - the crops missed the window and won't come back this year due to no rain.
Praying for rain, I am up here in Alberta we were in the same boat well and being on fire. We have gotten 8 inches of rain in the last week, praise Jesus
Acme was the place Wile E. Coyote got all his stuff too, and it's the perfect analogy for farmers since they're always trying to catch that elusive profit.
Gauges showing two pressures not equal is called differential pressure. Fueling systems for aircraft use this type of system to let the fueler know his filter is either getting plugged or the added catch system for water [water fuse] is sealing up. Just thought I'd pass along the name for it. Good explanation on your part.
I was wondering the same thing. just making assumptions here - you would be in the many millions to get an irrigation system running. 7k plus acres, how many wells and pumps would be required if the county allowed the permit.
Anyone make a rock picker/flagger bar that uses ground penetrating radar to isolate and flag/extract these bigger rocks - maybe set a threshold on what you want identified, then do it ? Seems a pretty good idea for rocky areas.
That is actually a fantastic idea. Patent that idea and then sell it to Case, Deere, etc. And no, I'm not being sarcastic, that is a seriously good idea. You could even set it up for fully autonomous operation by following the field maps they use for autosteer. Drag it to a field, let it do its work, and pick it up when its done.
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. It was interesting you looking and talking about the two different planters. Thanks for doing that. If I understand you correctly it is close to a draw. Interesting facts. Sending prayers your way for rain 🌧. Seems most areas are dry like you. Am hoping you get some moisture soon. Thanks Eric for talking about the sprayer filter. Was interesting. Nice work with the Rock Chet. You got it out of the ground easy and moved out of the way. Good work. About it I guess. You all take care and be safe. Thanks for everything Chet. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
Use lathe to mark rocks if u miss some oh well doesn't hurt anything if they go through the combine. wire wraps around wheels take out seals on wheels wrap around rotor not fun
Hey we got the Brody head at the end of this one........ speaking of Brody head..... that guy's voice says that 12 generations before him DID NOT smoke drink or chew or go with the girls that do.... high voice HIGH VOICE ! can we call him helium head or party balloon head? maybe like medicare shorten to part(y)"B" ..... love ya brodester! Jon O @ Idaho ps thanks to all for every report/post recorded.... you're all saints !
Be careful when you ask for Rain. Edson Aberta prayed for Rain. They got almost 7 inches. Be specific on how much rain you Pray for. If you want a light Rain for a day then ask for that. That is the experience I have. God Bless.
brake steering is how i feed cattle all winter long, make my wife nervous as can be with me driving with front wheels off the ground through deep mud with roundbales on the m 😂
A relative of mine immigrated from Sweden to Minnesota in the 1890’s . He wrote back to relatives in Sweden about how great the land was and how few rocks there were
Whit no rain you have sprayers so why don't you fill them with water and spray you corn or what ever needs to be moisture, better some thing then nothing. One of you can do that all day along for week or two. I know you have inssuarence that evrything is covered by them but doesn't your premium go up when you claim. I know what I would do. Spray water.
Hey now! Don't be putting people down for popping bubble wrap! It's both therapeutic and entertaining (for us that are easily entertained). And it gives a guy something to do with his hands.
Chet that was one big heavy rock. And that was another great video. 👍❤️
God Bless 🙏 Farmers everywhere. Thank You 😊 for All You do.
Thank you!
I will pray for you to have rain. We have your rain in South Georgia. We can not get rid of the rain. Last year was dry. 😊

I sent UPS pictures of where to leave packages and they've been very good.
Thank you for the comparison
We are dry in Central Indiana also
Popping bubble wrap, that made me smile. My mom used to love to do that.
Were the seed population set at the exact same rate?
great video guys. thank you
The frost crack was really interesting to me. I live in the subtropics, so I’ve never seen the ground freeze
Happens over here all the time. Doesn't matter if it's gravel, tarmac or concrete, the frost will crack it eventually, and our roads suffer
Congratulations on finishing playing
TEAM LARSON GETTING IT DONE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The cornstar should take a lesson from you guys on how to properly prep ground for bins.
How do you the settings for each planter were EXACTLY the same? We have seen differences from row to row let alone planter to planter.
Thanks for your time making this video
Good show

Keep up the good work! You are doing just fine!

Pretty sure they have not gotten any rain since this video in western MN. Parts of central MN they are calling the crops a total loss due to no rain..
It’s 🇺🇸Larson farms time 🇺🇸
😎
Chet man, please grease that backhoe seat and Kodiak door. LOL, once you hear it you can not unhear it. 😅
These videos are therapy for me :) So calming :) All best from Europe, Poland! :D
Since the Big Swede has become much more serious now that he's a land baron. How come we never see Steve? Dang rock!

Good stuff guys 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
11:56 you should ass a camera to the end of 2 rows from the different planters for a Timelapse for its growth
Ass a camera….😂😂😂
Can you guys do center pivots or irrigation wells there? The drought might be the norm..
Need to change the into to summertime
Any one use pivots to water in your part of Minnesota
Big swede, do your shirts come pre-cut with a solid seam?
@@tdiron5277 naturally. 🤘🏻😅
Haven’t had good rain here in Indiana sense April it is critical now.
I hear ya - they are calling parts of central MN a total loss. Crops are to far gone to come back this year.
Enjoy the videos ❤
I am from North Carolina and ware been having a lot of rain here do you want me send some your way
I agree
When you getting a grain bin robot?
When hauling backhoe or skid steers put buckets down on cutting edge down hard will keep machines not moving

what about irrigation systems? pivot? wouldn't it be worth the money you make back in yield? Thoughts Chet or Dougo? Jeff from Brainerd

Does Acme tool also sell anvils? Asking for a genius friend of mine.
Dynamite too, maybe they can blow up the struggle bus!
Awesome video guys. 🚜🚜🚜
The rain is a comming over the weekend 6/23 to 6/25.
End the no rain problem forever start dropping wells and add in a sprinkler system
Great video
Is there a reason why you don't irrigate in your area
That's a big rock for Dougos yard lol
Wish we could send you some rain. Our corn here in the Fraser Valley in British Columbia is about four to five feet tall.
It is dry here and we are getting rain today. But this is far in the past. We aren't 4 feet but it's coming along nicely.
@@DakotaTrucker that is good to hear. You in western MN?
@hawks2252 no. Eastern South Dakota. A little to the southwest, so most of the time, we have similar weather.
Did you check the gap between plants to make sure the seed wasn’t there? Could be a seed issue rather than a planter issue. Just sayin
Better oil door hinges. GM hinge pins are a devil to change.
Are both planters high speed?
Yeah
poor dougo looks knackered

That's the "fun" of farming. It's always either too hot, too cold, too wet, too dry, too windy or too calm.
Put some Rim Guard in those front tires. You could 300 to maybe 600 pounds of weight on the front tires.
Say it's June 22 have yall gotten any rain yet
nope. it's critical. if MN does not get some rain soon the entire state will be a total loss where the crops can't come back this year.

Im guilty of popping the bubble wrap too. Eric is right, that tool should have cut through hydraulic hose. The blade must have been spanked.

I think the deere planter is a the better setup.. it functions nicer being all integrated through the deere tractor and display.
400k to 500k for 1 though.
Get a crop duster! Y’all could benefit from it and maybe other farms would pay you to dust theirs
12:40 "deere is nicer" - is it possible the deere was planted after the precision and the precision row was affected by the deere planter?
Big stone county
If it wasn't for low/no-till I think we'd be having 1930s dust storms now.
hopefully that doesn't happen
