I’d love to see Larson Farms do a poll for how many of your viewers are farmers or farmer-adjacent and how many are city slickers like me who are just enjoying learning where our food comes from a hilarious group of guys.
Not a farmer but grew up in Cabot Cheese Dairy farm country in Vermont and New York and worked on dairy farms when I was young and dumb. Now I’m old and gray and live down south in Dixie lol
I can set for hours on hours watching Larson Farms, they bring back a lot of memories for me as a child living on a farm land helping out my friend who's dad owned a dairy farm.
Grew up on small dairy farm left for college stayed away until I was 37 years old returning for 5 years until we closed the dairy and sold cows needles to say I enjoy watching current farming films and the new modern equipment and ways also I am now 84 years old
Are we going to see Dougo hulk out and rip the steering column out of another combine this season??? Oh man that still has me in tears of laughter to this day.
Thanks for another great video Chet. Boy, what a day you all had especially Dougo. The struggle bus was following him today. Sorry your pickup broke down Dougo. Guess the alternator rent out is what Chet said. To the shop it goes. Oh my. And then the semi gets hung up on the field approach. Oh my. And NO rope. So you got it out with baler twine. Never heard of that one before but it worked so what the heck. Put a rope in the semi for next time Dougo. Been a trying day for all of you. BUT you got some black beans combined so that is good. Better day tomorrow everyone. Hang in there. Be careful in the heat. Thanks. The Iowa Farm Boy.
That was priceless, first stuck of the year. Amazed me that you two were actually getting the semi to rock back and forth just man handling it and really amazed me of you two getting it out with a piece of string 👍. I felt bad for Dougo for him having a bad day but through the nature of the goodness of having such an awesome family that you have, you through the WRENCH to the side and came out on top with good humor. Many, many respects for you. Looks like the black beans are starting out decent, just a thought, since they are typically more dirty than ordinary beans (last season you showed the amount of dirt in your grain tank), I'm sure the Crary wind system (not bashing on it, it is more beneficial to have vs not having) is directing a little more than usual dirt and dust, have you considered maybe doubling up on your grease point times like in the sense of a 50 hour point now becomes a 25 hour point just until the black beans are done?
How hard can that be... to give your millions of dedicated viewers a drone video intro of a summer time look at the farm instead of the dreary cold snow covered drone video.. Please! Chet: Maybe it'll just catch fire! LOL Always such great resposes. Nothing ever big and bad happens... famous last words. Same was said before Pearl Harbor attack! Happy Days are here again!! It's Larson Farms, Correll, Minn and the 3 stooges live video. Yee old Peterbilt wants to retire! And Brody is the only smart one: I don't want to be any part of this! Best Fram videos any where and my go to for entertainment. Thank you Larson Farms! Never laughed so hard in all my life!
I am a transplanted gentlemen farmer. I grew up in a large city in Pennsylvania, attended college in Rapid City, SD, moved back to rural Pike County, Pa after 12 years in SD. When my wife and I retired, we moved to her family’s farm in central, PA. I watch to learn about farming and enjoy the guys wit and humor.
Great video of starting the harvest season! Seems so odd seeing black beans coming out of the auger. Poor Dougo sometimes having the most unfortunate moments. You guys work so well together! Thanks again Chet for sharing another great video with us along with your PRICELESS time and effort! Cheers from Laurel, Delaware USA
Well guys, I don't know about you, but I have got to throw a whole bunch of twine in our truck....just in case! Thank you Doug for entertaining us with your driving skills. 😮 Great video! 😃🚜
I’d love to see Grandpa Larson more often, Dougo and he look a lot alike but Chet he’s been blessed with the same Larson personality but looks more like his mother’s breed!!
You guys are awesome Chett...im really getting a education from you guys being I know nothing about farming but I've been watching you guys for years now...Keep up the great work Fellas and I hope you have a Amazing Harvest Season!!!
Thanks Larson Farms for more black beans for us down here in Miami. My favorite side dish is cuban spiced black beans on rice with grilled chicken from Pollo Tropical. Yummy. Guess you guys need to carry yankum ropes in all your vehicles. Especially if Dougo is involved. I can't believe you guys couldn't change that altenator roadside yourselves. But then with modern vehicles it may be darn near inaccessable.
All too many times, I have used bailing twine, fence wire, duct tape, or electric tape to fix, repair or pull something when you didn't have anything g else, and the home place is 45 minutes away with weather pressing. Great day on the farm
In Dougo 's defense, that is a very narrow approach. Yall need to give Dougo some slack, the struggle Bus was full before he even got out of bed . On the other hand I would almost always want to have Dougo with when the bus shows up , he can find comedy out of the worst situation, a good attitude to always have ! The struggle Bus has his number 🚜🇺🇸🚜🇺🇸🚜🇺🇸
That old chevy pick-up will outlast anything new, and it looks good for the age, pulled out the grain truck with that maguyvered rope lol. The struggle bus is so real for dougo, poor fella. G-d bless.
Got a feeling DougO' would get a toy truck stuck. 😂 Awesome video Chet. Brody is just trying to keep everything clean, how else would he get so dirty? 🚜🚜🚜
haha - so do I. I worked at a full service gas station as a teenager (maybe you remember them - the attendent would fill the tank, check the oil, fluids, tire pressure, do tire repairs, etc) and my uniform would be full of grease at the end, and I never greased anything.
Ok, this may sound silly but, when trying to move a vehicle you seem to have better leverage by grabbing a tire from the side and rolling it. I have done that for a car or pickup to align it on a lift. That may have helped with the semi 🚛 to get it back a bit.
Dougo, hope it’s just arthritis vs tendinitis, the first gets fixed with meds, but the latter is surgery and 3-4 months recuperation and if it’s both tendons finding a surgeon who will do both is tough! Double the surgeries and recovery if they won’t do the whole elbow. Good luck and be good to yourself
Believe me I know from experience that the nylon plate wasn't the problem, but I'm impressed with your ability to get that truck to move with what you had available.
When i convinced the boss to put a slick plate on my milk tanker.. I had to start locking the diffs to get backed into half of my dairy farms…. I agree with them
I wouldn't be embarassed to put up the video of you pushing the truck. On the contrary, you looked like studs to never mess around with if you can do that. I know it isn't all fun and games, but you guys always put on a great show. Would be fun to do a day during harvest with you. Ray from Dawson.
I really enjoy your video's, I look forward to them every day, Don't see much on the weekends. Guess your busy with new wife and all. Thanks for sharing your life
I know how Brody feels. I've been there, working for farmers as a teen in the70's. As hired help you feel like it was your fault when something goes wrong.
Dougo just grabbing them gears!!! Giver Dougo!!!
JUST SEND IT DOUGO😂
“I don’t want to be any part of this!” ~Brody 😂
Brody's face when dougo took off was priceless
I’d love to see Larson Farms do a poll for how many of your viewers are farmers or farmer-adjacent and how many are city slickers like me who are just enjoying learning where our food comes from a hilarious group of guys.
Not a farmer but grew up in Cabot Cheese Dairy farm country in Vermont and New York and worked on dairy farms when I was young and dumb. Now I’m old and gray and live down south in Dixie lol
I work on 3300 acre potato farm in Northern Maine
City guy that just loves the videos.
I'm a farmer between Larson's & Millennial Farmer and recognize many of the landmarks in both.
I'm not a farmer but love the videos
The look on Brody’s face when Dougo tour out of the field to get a run at it was priceless. FULL SEND
Yank Um Twine. Complete with gun it break away feature! 💪🤣👍🏼
Look away I’m hideous 😂😂
Chevy for the save.
Never mind pulling a semi- with 3 pieces of twine, I was impressed to hell that you could "rock" a semi- with 2 guys!!
I can set for hours on hours watching Larson Farms, they bring back a lot of memories for me as a child living on a farm land helping out my friend who's dad owned a dairy farm.

I'm so glad you had that on video because no one would have believed it. The best part was watching you guys trying to move that semi!
Poor Dougo😢. I would say, He's having a "Bad" day to say the least. Hopefully it gets better for the rest of the harvest. Stay safe.
Are we going to see Dougo hulk out and rip the steering column out of another combine this season??? Oh man that still has me in tears of laughter to this day.
Love Dougo’s full send in big black when he got on flat ground!
Thanks for another great video Chet.

We love Dougo!!! We never know what struggle is coming 😅 Yay for for twine that saved the day 🎉
Yankum Twine by Larson Farms

The twine was absolutely impressive!
I can't believe you even moved that pushing lol
Newer ram, in the shop. 30 year old chevy, still working......
Never a dull moment with you all! Enjoyed the harvest video.
Love to see that MacGruber ingenuity with twine towing rigging.
13:39 - Dougo is a legend :D
How hard can that be... to give your millions of dedicated viewers a drone video intro of a summer time look at the farm instead of the dreary cold snow covered drone video.. Please!

The look on Brody's face 13:39 when Dougo pulls out!
Hopefully Duggo can have a better day

I bet you don't have the size fuel tanks Larson Farms has. ;)
Dougo always makes a video so fun to watch. A great start to harvest.
Way to go Dougo! Never say a wiser person can't do it!!!
You also need dip and pour elevater chains for clean grain and tare elevater chains to help prevent cracking of the beans. Cheers...
I agree. I am a city girl now but love learning about agriculture.
Fun fun 😊
Bailing twine can do everything!
Awesome save with the smallest Yankum rope ever I would have bet that would work WELL DONE CHET
Outstanding father son content
Great video of starting the harvest season! Seems so odd seeing black beans coming out of the auger. Poor Dougo sometimes having the most unfortunate moments. You guys work so well together! Thanks again Chet for sharing another great video with us along with your PRICELESS time and effort! Cheers from Laurel, Delaware USA
Good job Dougo. Yay all the way from Saskatchewan.
farm 2500 acres in north east mississippi. love the farming community and larson farms videos keep it up guys!!
I never would have believed that you pulled that semi with twine if I hadn't seen it!
we need some wedding pictures!!
Twine for the win. :)
Surprised there was no Yankum rope in the truck. I checked them out and get an email almost every day from them! Hope Dougo's days go better!
Dougo, let the air out of the suspension. The air ride suspension is holding that side of the axle up in the air. And lock in the power divider.
I love that semi. That thing sounds so good. Looks so good seeing the coal roll out of the two stacks too.
Sienfeld: Look away I'm hideous! LOL
Well guys, I don't know about you, but I have got to throw a whole bunch of twine in our truck....just in case! Thank you Doug for entertaining us with your driving skills. 😮 Great video! 😃🚜
The Black Pete sure sounds nice hauling butt out of the field!
13:40 Brody’s face when Dougo sends her

Thanks Larson Farms for more black beans for us down here in Miami.

Chet you have to much fun. 👍
A set of double lockers would fix this problem 😊👍😂

Good man I needed this episode for the laughs
I wouldn’t have bet the twine would work.
Be safe out there
This how I started watching you when you clean the combine out in the ditch 👍 hope you have good and safe fall
That old chevy pick-up will outlast anything new, and it looks good for the age, pulled out the grain truck with that maguyvered rope lol. The struggle bus is so real for dougo, poor fella. G-d bless.

Awesome video Chet. Brody is just trying to keep everything clean, how else would he get so dirty?
🚜🚜🚜
Got to be the episode of the season. Who knew a semi could be pulled out by string..... 🤣
Brody and I suffer from the same problem. Papa always said I could find a dirt spot on a machine strait from the dealer 😂
haha - so do I. I worked at a full service gas station as a teenager (maybe you remember them - the attendent would fill the tank, check the oil, fluids, tire pressure, do tire repairs, etc) and my uniform would be full of grease at the end, and I never greased anything.
Harvest time. 🎉. Best time of the year.
Thanks for all of the hard work you guys do!
Dougo was having a bad day. Glad that. Glad you were able to get in the fields.
Another informative and entertaining video! Thank you.
Everyone gives Dougo a hard time, he can't help the problems....it's not his fault!
I've seen a lot of things but not pulling truck out with twin. And pushing the big truck. You guys are awesome. Love your videos
I love those OBS chev trucks!
Harvest season (paying the bills) ❤
Have fun, be safe - great video
Dougo. You can't park there bud... 😅😅😅 ❤ from pnw oregon

“We’re gona haft to upgrade” that’s too funny!
I love that so funny and the twine work wth???? lol
Hands down best video ever!!!!
Yankem twine? Good job boys
THANKS FOR REALITY TV. I been watching for a year now . 👍👍👍
Wouldn’t believe it if I didn’t see it. Awesome
You go Dougo! Git R Done

When i convinced the boss to put a slick plate on my milk tanker.. I had to start locking the diffs to get backed into half of my dairy farms…. I agree with them
I always thought Dougo was a great name, but after 7:56 he’ll now always be Kramer to me.
Idk what it is but the entire harvest process is so fascinating to me! Keep on kickin y’all!
I wouldn't be embarassed to put up the video of you pushing the truck. On the contrary, you looked like studs to never mess around with if you can do that. I know it isn't all fun and games, but you guys always put on a great show. Would be fun to do a day during harvest with you.
Ray from Dawson.
What an awesome team you guys are. That was a terrific video. 👍❤️
I really enjoy your video's, I look forward to them every day, Don't see much on the weekends. Guess your busy with new wife and all. Thanks for sharing your life
Chet, I see that you have a new pet on your shoulder for a ride-along. Of course, you didn't keep the pet for very long.
I know how Brody feels. I've been there, working for farmers as a teen in the70's. As hired help you feel like it was your fault when something goes wrong.
Worked perfectly, and detached as designed to avoid a collision! Love it!
Been there and done that Doug, If it wasn't for bad luck we would have no luck at all!
Like your video got to have fun when working in fields
I know a guy that had to use his carhart bibs to pull his car out of ditch. Jumper cables have been used as tie downs a couple times.
Im 2 mins into the video and just wanted to share. When your harvesting beans. I feel I need to hit the Barber Shop, for a haircut LOL😂❤😂
Dang he was hitting them gears that 2nd run outta there ....😂
Thank you Dougo.
Great video as usual… The struggle bus is alive and well😮
The struggle bus dougo!!!!! The old 91 did its job got big blacky moving that was gd!!!
The combine will leak hydraulic oil when the reservoir is at full for some reason it doesn’t really make sense
