i remember there was a scene in one episode where kevin sat on a chair backwards and i thought it was the coolest thing ever. it wasnt even part of the plot, i just noticed he did it and i was so amazed that one could sit like that.
I never realized how awkward this show is. Not every show needs a laugh tack and thats fine, but there's so much background noise and ambience and in between jokes and dialogue there's just dead silence and it's so weird lmao but I'll give bonus points because nick is adorable here.

i could literally go on and on about this show, as someone who was and still is in the jonas brothers fandom and lived thru this shows airing. the jonas brothers were offered a show back in 2007 called j.o.n.a.s (or long name 'junior operatives networking as spies') where they would play a band that was secretly spies. they filmed one pilot and then they blew up, and also filmed camp rock, so disney scrapped the show. two years later they decided to give them this show, which personally i think they created last minute since it's one of the few disney shows during this era that truly sucks and has no fucking plot. literally you could play any episode at any point during this season and you'd be back at square one with what you know. it was very obvious that disney just wanted to use the jonas brothers for as long as they could since both joe and kevin were getting older, while nick at the time was still only 17ish. and then when they did the next season, jonas la, which was far better in a lot of ways. joe had said multiple times how he would have to shave constantly just to look young. disney really tried to pass off joe and kevin as high schoolers, when kevin was already married at this point. and fun fact, in the second season, nick kisses a girl and they removed it because joe was also kissing a girl that season and they couldn't have more than one kiss a season.... which is weird. i do recommend you watch jonas la, which is better, but equally as awkward. also, the fact that you disrespected 'give love a try' hurts my heart lol that song put me thru it back when i was 13-14

Jonas L.A. was one of my favorite shows. It was like the first TV "drama" I watched and the Jonas L.A. soundtrack went so hard. Hey You, Critical, and L.A. Baby are still songs I listen to in college. Season 1 Jonas sucked though, even as a kid I knew it was bad.
I liked season 1 better because it was so stupid it was funny, and I think it had more internal jokes too. But Jonas LA soundtrack is amazing, I still have some songs in my playlist

the weird part is in the show their last name wasn’t even jonas. it was lucas. so why was the band named jonas???? i feel like this show would’ve don’t so much better if they actually made it about the jonas brothers instead of a fake band played by the jonas brothers. or at least if that’s what they were going to do make it kind of like a spin off of camp rock so it would’ve been about the band from that - Connect 3.
I actuall had a debate over this back when it first aired - you know, serious preteen stuff. Apperently the street they lived was named "Jonas", so they picked it for the band????

i could literally go on and on about this show, as someone who was and still is in the jonas brothers fandom and lived thru this shows airing. the jonas brothers were offered a show back in 2007 called j.o.n.a.s (or long name 'junior operatives networking as spies') where they would play a band that was secretly spies. they filmed one pilot and then they blew up, and also filmed camp rock, so disney scrapped the show. two years later they decided to give them this show, which personally i think they created last minute since it's one of the few disney shows during this era that truly sucks and has no fucking plot. literally you could play any episode at any point during this season and you'd be back at square one with what you know.
it was very obvious that disney just wanted to use the jonas brothers for as long as they could since both joe and kevin were getting older, while nick at the time was still only 17ish. and then when they did the next season, jonas la, which was far better in a lot of ways. joe had said multiple times how he would have to shave constantly just to look young. disney really tried to pass off joe and kevin as high schoolers, when kevin was already married at this point. and fun fact, in the second season, nick kisses a girl and they removed it because joe was also kissing a girl that season and they couldn't have more than one kiss a season.... which is weird.
i do recommend you watch jonas la, which is better, but equally as awkward.
also, the fact that you disrespected 'give love a try' hurts my heart lol that song put me thru it back when i was 13-14
personally jonas la was equally as bad, maybe i just didn’t like the whole NeXt On JonAs LA type thing and they’d continue on like an actual series, it just didn’t seem disney, more like a scripted reality tv show. of course it’s my opinion
I agree in so many ways, also Nick basically said they hated JONAS and that Jonas LA was his biggest regret and then they all made it look like they were forced to do it so I think we can see that in the show in some way....Also I'm kinda glad Alex didn't put the part with the wings on give love a try bc 🤣🤣

@@junjunjamore7735 It's the second season of the regular Jonas program, but it was treated as an entirely separate show. They even changed the theme song! In my opinion (from what I remember when it aired), it was better than the original season.

I actually have 2 disks of the show. I honestly love the campiness, and it's unintentionally hilarious.
Jonas L.A. was one of my favorite shows. It was like the first TV "drama" I watched and the Jonas L.A. soundtrack went so hard. Hey You, Critical, and L.A. Baby are still songs I listen to in college. Season 1 Jonas sucked though, even as a kid I knew it was bad.
I liked season 1 better because it was so stupid it was funny, and I think it had more internal jokes too.
But Jonas LA soundtrack is amazing, I still have some songs in my playlist
