Thankyou Hard Driver for the kind words! Really appreciate it and keeps me motivated. For the people who are asking about where they can find the track La Guitarra: 'its not released yet'. This track also got featured in one of Atmozfears his streams and he also really liked it. So I'm hoping on releasing it somewhere, and if somebody has suggestions, feel free to hit me up :). Also a big shout out to you Freek (Hard Driver) for doing those studio sessions! you really give something back to the scene and that is amazing.
Thank you for sharing. Trying to learn it all as a beginner is very overwhelming. I feel like I don't know where to look to even begin to learn, but I know this feeling won't last forever. I'm highly motivated.
Finally a decent tutorial. lol, remember back in the days when you found videos called "Perfect hardstyle kick!!!!+FLP DOWNLOAD!!" and the kicks were total shit? man, i wish we had these tutorials back in 2008.
Thank you for this tutorial. It was really helpful in many ways. I started producing electronic music ten years ago and much longer I am addicted in music. Two years ago I started experimenting with harder styles and still working on Kicks. It is still the biggest challenge at all. Simple Kicks - no problem. In theory I know what I do. But I am still not satisfied. That is the reason why this tutorial is a great help because it changes perspective. ☺
First of all thanks for share this kind of tutorials with us because is always a pleasure listen a top artist in the scene explaining his work. My suggestion is a class mixing a song, because I try many times to mix a project that I finished but always I have a problem with specific sounds and the dynamics of the song. I’ve been trying for months but the shit has been progressing😂🤦🏻♂️ It’s frustrating. Thank you very much again and greetings from Spain💪👌.
Keep practicing man. It takes quite some time to get adept at that. If you know the fundamentals of mixing its up to practice. You will improve though. Just keep finishing your tracks and reflect back on them, what you liked and what could have been better. and use references! This has helped me heaps!
Hey dude, nice tutorial. I've been trying the kicks for a 2 years now. I'm now at the stage where I am hearing proper freqs so got the crunch coming out nice. Punch is still a little ruff. Where could I send a final copy to yiu. Thx
Thank you from the deep of my heart for these free tutorials Hard Driver 🤟❤️ Still can’t explain why you’ve never been part of a Qlimax lineup.. You’d deserve it so much for your talent and dedication
very very helpful! even if im already lost in serum after 1 minute lol.... i dont know what happened but after some steps, all of my signal in the shaper box plugins, had been shifted by 1/4 in left direction...i had to move all the sidechain... i dont know what the hell i press! im using Ableton... im watching all of your tutorials, very very interesting...sometimes i miss details and i go crazy to find what to press....special first time with the retrig signal of serum...you had the kick...and me random "woom "om" "mmm"... anyway i say again super tutorial! thank you! it's a very good point to make pratice and understand the concepts.
MAGC from the free melda productions effect bundle is an automatic gain compensation plugin, could be helpful so you don't have to adjust volume yourself.
I love you dude, thank you so much for helping newbies. I am an aspiring Russian musician, I am only 14, and I really love this kind of music. You sound great, I'm trying to match you
that reverb trick you did where you used shaper box to let the punch through, whack a reverb on it then make a curve to slowly allow the reverb to come through; do you think that would work for an oldschool bass kick too? Also, for the next tutorial, could you do layering leads as when i layer leads sound a bit flat and would really like to know how you go about layering a lead in a track.
I think, this is awesome - real life crafting and great result for that short amount of time! For me it's time to invest in good quality studio monitors. Could you tell me what are you using? And what you think .... Is it necessary to have a subwoofer for that kind of.... thingz? :) thx
@ HARD DRIVER Do you use Distroyer? I have been using stock plugins and been EQing and Distroyer on a Drumazon 909 but I cannot achieve the crunch and growl sound no matter what I do. It just sounds thin and like a saw wave. I have tried using 7 or more Distroyers and still can’t get that sound. Do you know why this is? How can I get a good crunch and growl on Distroyer?
at first , thanks a lot for this tutorial. Really helpfull, and it will keeps me busy the next couple of years ;) . I wonder if you also use sylent 1 for your leads, i would love to see a tutorial how you tweek it, or perhaps another lead vst. I'm really curious which vst you have used for de lead in focus on music and sleepless nights, its the same vst i think? keep up the good work warrior ;) , greetings from zwolle
Like the tutorial! I don't need it just happen to land here. Thinking I should start tutorials making hardstyle kicks under five minutes outside of the box method not following others is the way to find different sounds. But have to say you do keep saying the reviewed tracks have original sounds when they are not. I have heard very similar to exactly the same melodies in all of the tunes but watered down versions. You have not heard every track out there and neither have but I have heard these tracks before years before 2020 not original
@@maurohrd was a joke. Couple years ago he said he would make a hardstyle track in 1 hour, but figured out he had to make his own kick and couldn't do it 🤣

Should I do a screech tutorial next month? Let me know!
Yes And Thanks To Make Useful And Helpfull Video ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Of course!
Yeees!!
And maybe a tutorial with how you layer chords with leads, how you can structure the notes in the chords to the melody/lead layer
Yeah!

@@giovanniletua436 yes where?
@@giovanniletua436 using your own old kicks isn't stealing, and afaik he said you *can* use bits from sample pack kicks, but not the entire thing
